Turns out the natives, upon finding Greta in the jungle after her plane crash, instantly began to [[MistakenForGods worship her as a goddess]], apparently just because of [[MightyWhitey the color of her skin]]. She insists that Bob and Mike would have been treated simialrly had Bob not murdered; but, while Bob the "white devil" awaits execution at the hands of the natives, Mike and Greta work up a plan to get the three of them back to civilization. But between the usual dangers in the jungle and the natives' ever-decreasing opinion of "Mata" Greta, escape won't be so easy...

* DoubleStandard: When the male leads show up to "save" Greta the first thing they do is shoot dead an unarmed tribesman. Greta [[WhatTheHellHero calls the guys out for what they've done]], causing the men to express honest confusion over why she or they should care about an African being killed. [[WhatMeasureIsANonCute What measure is a non-white]], apparently.

* FridgeHorror: When you think about the events after the movie's over. Mike & Greta not only have the reward money but they also have a found uranium mine right where the Zambizis live. To anyone who knows anything about "Blood Diamonds" you'll know what the situation will be for tribe. Let's just say that poor Wanana, Greta's "BFF" is gonna have a knife in her back the size of LRA militiaman's machete! Some girlfriend, that Greta!

* SpecialEffectsFailure: The binocular views from the plane, showing wildlife at ground-level. The airplane with not only changes model but you can see the string. The jungle set that looks like a garden center at Walmart. The cheesy stock-footage shots of animals, including those not native to Africa.

* HeyItsThatGuy: George Reeves (TV's {{Superman}}) as Mike.
** His villainous sidekick, Bob would qualify. YMMV since he played Dick Tracy in the old ComicStrip/DickTracy serials, which not too many may know about. This troper sure didn't.
