!!Tropes in this Film
*TheAloner: Juan is this. [[spoiler: As is Cristobal]]
*CosyCatastrophe: The power, water and utilities stay on - most surprisingly the Internet still works. The stores, even after a few weeks, are full of edibles.
*DepopulationBomb: In Santiago, Chile.
*DespairEventHorizon: Juan reaches this in a scene where he flips out on the viewer. Then in the next scene he says he's finally leaving the city - [[spoiler: Sadly it means he's DrivenToSuicide.]]
*DrivenToSuicide: [[spoiler: Juan attempts. Cristoball may have intended it.]]
*GainaxEnding: At the end you still have no idea what's really going on. Evidently something is going on with the larger world, but we're not told what it is.
*GoMadFromTheIsolation: Juan, [[spoiler: but more so Cristoball.]]
*LowAngleEmptyWorldShot: Most long shots make sure buildings block the action. You can tell a lot of photography was taken on Sundays or in the early morning.
*ShoutOut:
** The plane tickets Cristoball has are for [[Series/{{Lost}} Oceanic Airlines]], hinting at the MindScrew..
