** The one non-set-related special effect is truly awesome: at one point smoke pours out of the enemy wizard's nostrils. Obviously accomplished by having the actor take a big drag on a cigarette, hold his breath, then exhale on camera- but the impression is that ''his brain is burning up'' during the duel.

Conan and his accomplice Malak are tasked by Queen Taramis to escort her niece Princess Jehnna to obtain an artifact needed to resurrect Dagoth, "The Dreaming God". Little does he know that the god in question will bring the age of darkness upon its resurrection, and the princess will be sacrificed in order to do so.
