* DatingServiceDisaster: The movie in a nutshell. The "sophisticated computer" Sid and Sophie use to match their clients is purely decorative; Sophie herself chooses the matches seemingly at random, and the couples are almost invariably complete mismatches (Bert and Sally are a rare exception). In the final scene, the many ill-matched couples who used Sid and Sophie's services are gathered in one room, giving each other (and Sid and Sophie themselves) {{Death Glare}}s.

'''Sid:''' And that is...?\\

'''Bert:''' Oh, yes, I ''would'' like a girl who likes [[DoubleEntendre it]] too.\\
'''Sid:''' Yes, it is handy. Er, hobbies?\\
'''Bert:''' Oh. Well, my main one is making model aeroplanes.\\

'''Bert:''' Yes - they're not flying models, of course.\\
'''Sid:''' No? You surprise me.

The first ate poisoned mushrooms, the second died of a fractured skull (as "Crippen" explains, "She wouldn't eat the mushrooms").

It focuses on a dating agency that hopes to match up single volunteers, no matter how wrong they are.

The head of the company are Sid Bliss (James) and his girlfriend Sophie Plummett (Jacques), who own a fake computer that Sophie secretly operates. They manage to hook up a shy man named Bert (O'Callaghan) with a model named Sally (Piper); a constantly-trialed Terry (Scott), who fails to get with Jenny (Hassall); and Percival (Williams) who is the interest of Sophie, which angers his housekeeper (Patsy Rowlands). Sid meanwhile is trying to win the affections of Esme (Sims) and is caught trying to background check some clients by Sophie's hired spy (Hawtrey).

And... somehow a wrestler (Bresslaw) gets caught up in this rigmarole.

Expect a HurricaneOfPuns, GettingCrapPastTheRadar and Sid James' laugh.
