a grand total of three KidFic pieces I can tolerate, and manages to be both hilarious and heartbreaking sometimes in the course of a single chapter. There is a prequel entitled Foundlings and Empty Nests which I would also recommend - if you like the sound of it, give it a go, if you don't, give it a go anyway, because I swear, this fic is gold.
