The story takes its time to build up Izuku and Ochako's friendship, which have a lot of adorable moments together. It also avoids one of the most annoying {{Fandom Specific Plot}} by not only bringing Shinso into the Hero Course ''without'' kicking Mineta out, but the story also makes Shinso actually ''work'' for his spot rather than handing it to him with no string attached. Among other interesting changes, it also features Toga as a hero, done in a way that makes sense while keeping true to her personality so she doesn't feel like an OC in all but name.
