Changes are sometimes subtle and sometimes major, and while the story itself is minimalist it helps the story and reader by directly addressing the major points in a way that doesn't seem too jarring. All the characters are written in a way true to their series, and Dio is able to transition into the BigBad position in a way that fits the Franchise/DanganRonpa themes. There is even a one-shot chapter focusing on Jonathan that manages to portray him as he was in ''Manga/PhantomBlood'' without coming off as cheesy. Worth a look for fans of either series.
