The whole thing ends surprisingly neatly, but it makes a good case for why it might not have in the end. An entertaining and gripping brief experience.

Everyone is kept nicely in character and the [[OriginalCharacter Original Characters]] that show up are some of the best in the fandom. Well fleshed out, sympathetic and believable, and this is from a troper who usually avoids fics starring [=OCs=] like the plague. So nice to find an exception. It says there's a chapter missing but don't worry, the fic is actually complete and has a prequel that's pretty awesome too.
