This short, but sweet story also shows other Schiff (Moses and Lulu in particular) learning about TV, playing the cello and the Earth's gravity from the Red Shield too. In short, this story's a keeper not just for Irene/Kai shippers, but for fans who loved the Schiff in general.

* ''Synopsis'': Probably the only decent, and somewhat reasonably thought-out, Riku/Diva story, it's one of the three stories that answer if [[spoiler:Riku hadn't been raped and killed in Episode 32]]. While Riku's something of a CanonSue, managing to inspire Solomon to break out from his imprisonment (the author admits Solomon did it by himself, anyway) and eventually [[spoiler:un-doing Diva's psychosis and getting her to reject Amshel]], and with its tone suffering some serious breaks, it's still worth a read. Warning to you, the author admitted it was PornWithPlot. There's more plot than porn, but it's a big part of Chapter 2. The other major divergence from canon is that [[spoiler:Irene isn't killed by Saya's blood, leading to a Kai/Irene secondary pairing]].

* ''Comments'': The author actually managed to explain a few of the {{Wall Banger}}s of the canon (i.e., why the Schiff burn up in the sunlight when none of the other chiropterans did, why Saya and Diva had no chiropteran form when it's readily apparent that their mother did, and, indirectly, Saya's {{Moral Myopia}} in trying to avenge Joel, who, lets face it, was a pseudoNazi fuck) and went to lengths to delve into the psychology, thought-processes, and biology of the chiropterans.
