* Bookends: The final battle against [[Film/AvengersAgeOfUltron Ultron]] happens in the same forest where the Avengers had first taken down Strucker's Hydra base.

* ActorAllusion: Characters looking like other characters from other Universes gets lampshaded constantly:

* BullyingADragon: Lex and Zemo both verbally taunt [[spoiler:Zoom]] when he is their prisoner, knowing he can't do a thing as he came to Lex for help. Its funny since he ends up becoming their own Dragon afterwards.

* AdaptationSpeciesChange: The MCU versions of [[spoiler:Wanda and Pietro are Mutants]].

** [[Film/AvengersAgeOfUltron Ultron's]] personality is very different from canon, due to having researched the Multiverse when it first wakes up. So instead of being a quip-machine like Tony Stark, its a cold, emotionless being working on what is considers to be logic, much like its [[Characters/TheAvengersEarthsMightiestHeroesSeasonOneAntagonists EMH doppelganger]].

* There is an evil version of this with the Injustice League as well right now, due to it having 5 members:

* FiveManBand: The Leverage team briefly form one alongside Oliver Queen and Ethan Hunt:

** Adrian calls out Oliver for the death of his father (who was a horrible person trying to profit off a epidemic he himself caused in Lamb Valley), only for Sara to point out that Adrian himself killed many people simply to rearrange their bodies in the same way as 4 years ago.

** At one point, Parker notes that her criticism of Felicia during training actually did upset the teenage thief, when until then she'd a smug self-assurance about her. This

* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Earth-3 Fiddler briefly does this to [[spoiler:Earth-3 Wally]], forcing him to attack Jay.

** Gandalf, Aragorn and Lord Elrond tell Spike the history of the One Ring, as well as Sauron.

* IWarnedYou: After its revealed that the fake Jay Garrick was Zoom along, Barry pretty much says 'I told you so' to Cisco, Caitlin and the rest of his team, as he was suspicious of 'Jay' at the start, only releasing him because of his team thinking Barry has stopped trusting people due to Thawne, and also because of Earth-2 Eddie Slick and Michael Myers being threats at the same time.

* MoralEventHorizon: Virgil does not shoot Top from behind because he believes that'd be this trope for him, and throws the gun away in disgust.

** The way Ash takes out the Ancient Ones is a reference to how [[/Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS2E14Innocence Buffy took out the Judge]].

** Freddy Krueger kills a teenager during his murder spree.

** Dean Winchester mistakes Eliot for [[Recap/SupernaturalS15E07LastCall Lee]] when they first meet.

* DeathOfAChild: The BX commando droids kill everyone they find in a camp, including some teenagers.

** While Oliver is calling out his team for their bad treatment of him, the Leverage crew and IMF are sitting on the sidelines, with some of them cracking quips about what they see, Parker even eating popcorn as she watches the drama unfold before her. She also asks Hunt if the popcorn has a tracer to track whoever eats it, considering its also IMF stuff.

** Johnny Storm keeps doing some sort of mischief or the other ever since he has gotten his powers, and is always punished very hilariously for it all.

** Steven Lloyd's fight with Michael Myers contains several references to Laurie Strode's final fights with Michael Myers in ''Film/HalloweenH20TwentyYearsLater'' and ''Film/Halloween2018''.

** The fight between [[spoiler:Steve and Krell]] is full of this. By the end of it, [[spoiler:Krell has lost an eye, three of his four arms have been rendered unusable, either broken or chopped off, and his face has been brutally beaten in as well]]. Of course [[spoiler:Steve is not much better either, having had many of his bones broken and his ribcage nearly crushed. He even gets stabbed by Krell's lightsaber, only surviving because he is a Super Soldier, and he still needs quite some time to recover]].

** Steve is sent into a rage on finding out about Krell's treachery and actually wishes to kill him. [[spoiler:The fight that follows ends with Krell losing three of his four arms, either broken or chopped off, and he even loses an eye, at the end, barely even being a shadow of the Jedi he used to be]].

* RunningGag: Johnny Storm keeps doing some sort of mischief or the other ever since he has gotten his powers, and is always punished very hilariously for it all.

* ActionGirl: Natasha Romanoff, Sara Lance, Buffy Summers, Parker, Lois Lane, Diana Prince, Ahsoka Tano, etc. The list goes on and on.

* HoistByHisOwnPetard: At one point, Steve uses [[spoiler:Krell's own lightsaber to cut off one of his arms]].

* TrainingFromHell: Parker's training of Felicia Hardy is very much like this. In their very first training session, Parker calls Felicia out for being 20 seconds late. Then, Felicia has to escape from an airport without getting caught....while the systems have seemingly been given her face for being a suspected terrorist! Felicia also fails the test because one camera outside the airport does catch her. Another time, Felicia is failed because she is supposed to steal a specific amount of money, and is a buck short! Another time, Felicia has to escape from two cop cars because apparently there is a kilo of cocaine under her seat, and Parker is the one who called the cops. [[spoiler:Then its revealed it was just cereal!]] Felicia even jokes she'll die from a heart attack due to the stress before they even get to actually stealing anything big. [[spoiler:However, she does pass this test]].

** Steve and Natasha have romantic feelings for each other, and are getting closer bit by bit.
* AffablyEvil: Zemo is genuinely polite, like usual, offering Turkish delight to his fellow members of the Injustice League while they're waiting for [[spoiler:Vandal Savage's resurrection]]. Lex Luthor of Earth-21 is also this to a lesser extent.

* HappilyMarried: [[Film/Underworld2003 Selene and Michael Corvin]] are happily married with a daughter- Eva.

* HiddenDepths: Thor surprises Tony and Banner when he keeps up with them both in a scientific conversation, albeit by using different terminology due to his Asgardian upbringing.

* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: Zemo kills the Hydra scientists he'd hired to help build a portal machine for Lex to return to his world once the machine starts working, because Zemo does not want any lose ends.

* ActionGirl: Natasha Romanoff, Sara Lance, Buffy Summers, Parker, Lois Lane, Diana Prince, Ahsoka Tano, etc. The list goes on an on.

* WouldHurtAChild: Count Werner Vladek won't hesitate to kill a 10 year old girl for being a threat to his claim on the throne.

** The [[WesternAnimation/JusticeLeagueTheFlashpointParadox Flashpoint]] timeline on Earth-52 is quite the depressing world.

** Iris mentions to [[Series/{{Smallville}} Lois Lane]] that there is a Lois Lane on [[Franchise/{{Arrowverse}} Earth-1]] too. [[spoiler: An Earth-1 version of [[Film/ManOfSteel Superman]] shows up later]]]].
