It's important to recognize what we need to do to learn and evolve into better people, and to try and reach that goal to help ourselves. [[spoiler:Despite knowing for a while that she was in the wrong, Amy stubbornly stuck to bullying and belittling Sammy, and allowed these acts to increase in severity because she had been too afraid of properly admitting that all of her hatred for her sister had originated from thoughts she'd had as a child that spiraled into something bigger. It takes getting separated onto different teams, having very little to no support while her sister gets everyone on her side, several physically and mentally traumatic challenges, and an actual, honest-to-goodnes life threatening situation for Amy to finally come clean about everything. Once she's able to take that first step, she finds that the rest become much easier.]]
