[[spoiler: It's implied he had the same kind of relationship with the previous Miraculous holders.]] Especially Adrien, due to being the first adult in his life to really focus on Adrien's emotional needs.
* FishOutOfWater: Truesight [[spoiler: is thousands of years removed from a different universe.]] However, [[spoiler: he has experience adapting to new cultures thanks to being summoned without warning so many times before.]] In his own words the "names of my gods would be meaningless to you".

He even tries to blame Master Fu for not giving him a clear warning on what could happen, only for Fu to fire back that Gabriel never even ''tried'' to seek a clear warning.

A year into their superhero careers, Ladybug and Chat Noir are struggling. Hawkmoth's supervillains are becoming ever more powerful and monstrous. Paris is terrorized on an almost daily basis. Worst of all, Adrien remains oblivious to the affections of his classmate, Marinette.

Desperate for any edge in the fight against Hawkmoth, they pull out the mysterious spellbook in Master Fu's possession and perform an ancient ritual within.

Unknown to them, this starts them on the path to discovering the secrets of the miraculous.
