* FoodAsBribe: In the very first chapter, Jason has to deal with Klarion the Witch Boy, who's de-aged the adult heroes and aged up the teenage heroes. Jason ends up giving him one of Alfred's chocolate chip cookies and promising him the rest of the bag he'd brought if Klarion restores everyone, which works.

* StageMom: Like her canon counterpart, Bonnie King (the mother of Young Justice's Arrowette) is this, with a disgusted Jason dropping the trope name to describe her. Then she proves it when she objects to Cissie attending a superhero training camp simply because it's in the middle of nowhere, rather than someplace where she can show off her skills and be recognized for it. She even demands to know "Where's the money, the marketing, the brand?", and accuses them of having her train in private as "another way of giving my daughter the shaft". Everyone present thinks that she really means "giving me the shaft", and are just as disgusted as Jason with her behavior.

Nintendo Hard is now YMMV. Removing for not fitting the definition.

* NintendoHard: Namedropped InUniverse, and more than once, by the Era 2 Leaguers and those who fought against them alike. Every member of the Era 2 League member is a CombatPragmatist who's willing to fight dirty and ruthlessly against their opponents, to the point where (after they'd been brainwashed and turned against their predecessors) only a few of said predecessors were still standing by the time the Era 2 Leaguers were each knocked back to their senses.
-->Tim Drake/Robin III: "Era 2 is Nintendo Hard. Let's just leave it at that."

This or these examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected, or something is just an innate aspect of the setting or character that has a logical reason for being present); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** Just because Young Justice were now the adults did not mean the de-aged JLA and JSA had to listen to them. And in turn, Young Justice had no idea how to really make them listen to them even with their newfound maturity since they're not that old and have no real experience with children, let alone so many. Jason, however, does since he raised four kids essentially on his own and handles Damian on a regular basis, hence why Bruce and Tim brought him in.
** Having three people from the same timeline traveling back to the past after their deaths, with no discernible reason explaining how or why, reeks of a conspiracy and puts everyone on alert.
** As much as they love each other and despite their mental ages, Jason and Donna can't act like a couple in public because Jason is still legally a minor.
** No matter how talented a fighter Cass is, not even she can measure up to spoiler:an aged-up Jason that is using advanced technology to enhance his abilities. Especially not when he's used to sparring against her adult self, who is infinitely more skilled a fighter than she currently is.
** is one of the greatest martial artists in the world, a master strategist, and has access to technology far beyond that of the current time. He's still a baseline human and thus the easiest member of the Era 2 Justice League to subdue.
** As much as Kon wants Clark and him to be the ones to mentor and help her acclimate to Earth, they simply don't have the time right now to devote themselves to the care of one girl, no matter how much they love her. Doubled with the fact that , Kon convinces Clark to leave at Themyscira with the Amazons, as they can dedicate themselves to her training better.
** When the Era 2 JL reveal Doctor Light's MindRape at the hands of Zatanna, which happened with the backing from several other heroes that are not part of the current incarnation of the JLA, those who aren't already in the know are disgusted and horrified, with several pointing out all the pitfalls of such an act. Hal Jordan, one of the heroes who voted for the MindRape, even admits that the decision was stupid in hindsight, but defends their choice by pointing out that all they wanted to do was give Ralph and Sue some peace of mind knowing that Light was no longer a threat.
** Iris is not happy to see Hal after he, while possessed by Parallax, kidnapped her nephew right in front her to do God knows what with. While she acknowledges that he wasn't in control of himself at the time, she's still not ready to forgive him and so politely asks him to leave her house after his brief visit to make an apology.
** A single BadassNormal vigilante, no matter how smart or skilled they are, or whatever technology they have at their disposal, can never hope to fight a MobWar by themselves. When it looks like Bludhaven is about to be plunged into one, Jason and Tim immediately offer to help Dick in wrangling the chaos, while Dick himself starts considering bringing in the Titans (despite the possible risks of escalation) because he really can't afford to hold back.

Adult Fear is now a disambig

* AdultFear:
** The entire premise is this. Now the entire superhero world has to face the possibility that someone they loved will be merged with their future self, after they died, and presumably after watching their friends and family die too.
** A terrified Iris has to watch as a possessed version of one of her friends kidnaps her nephew right in front of her.
** Bruce is furious to hear about Jason's kidnapping and immediately begins hatching a plan to rescue him. Doubly so if you remember how the last story ended.
** Nightwing is horrified to learn that several members of the JLA allowed him and his friends to tangle with and make fun of a villain they knew to be a rapist when they were still the underaged Teen Titans.

** M'gann is confirmed to have feelings for Kon (like in the cartoon), but they weren't strong enough for her to stand in the way of his relationship with Hiyori. It's also strongly implied that Kon was unaware of them when he died.
