During a writer's block, a story set a year after the events of ''IV'', ''Power Rangers Clockwork'', was released in late 2018. A WholePlotReference to the ''Skyrim'' mod ''Clockwork'', it features Arika, her world's version of Carter Grayson, and Sean as they try to find out the secrets of Urverk Castle. All while a spectre tries to kill the heroes.

* PowerTrio: While unnamed at the time, ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers II'' has Tim Langdon/Go-Buster Ranger Red, Michael Grayson/Red Lightspeed Ranger, and Orion/Super Megaforce Silver, and their team name is the "Swag Force Rangers". ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III'' has the Brotherhood of Destruction: the revived and atoning Conquest, Dante, and Akira.

* HijackedByGanon: [[spoiler:Flurious overpowers and dethrones RINO in Chapter 16, taking his new spot as the final villain.]]

** The arc once again brings several nods to ''Puella Magi Madoka Magica'', this time from its sequel movie, ''[[Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagicaTheMovieRebellion Rebellion]]''. Several of Conquest's lines mirror Homura's, [[spoiler:and he becomes the Ultimate Red Legendary Ranger in a similar way that Homura usurps Madoka from her role as God, only with a bloodbath of a match. And like in the end of the movie, Chapter 12 reveals that Sean will get his powers back, which happens in Chapter 16.]]

* BigGood: The Tokusatsu Spirits, who are the closest things to deities in their worlds. [[spoiler:Rika herself becomes one as the Champion of Canon in the finale of ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III''.]]

* FiveBadBand: RINO and his underlings in ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers II''. They are as follows...
** BigBad: RINO, even if most of the arc's spent on his throne and barking orders at the Horsemen. [[spoiler:Until Flurious usurps him.]]
** TheDragon: Conquest[[spoiler:/Alternate!Sean]]. The one Horseman who leads his team, actually succeeds in his main goal, and is the most loyal to his master [[spoiler:until, after obtaining the Ultimate Red Legendary Ranger powers, he goes batshit insane]]. Fittingly, he's also the EvilCounterpart to the Scouts/Legendary Rangers' own Lancer: Sean.
** TheEvilGenius: Famine/Flurious. Serves as the mission control for the team and tries to placate RINO, but to no avail. [[spoiler:Eventually takes RINO's spot as the BigBad.]]
** TheBrute: War[[spoiler:/Dante]]. Very brutal with his attacks, and he's the one who sends the Operation Overdrive team to suicide missions and reviving them so they can do it all over again. The technically EvilCounterpart to Tim Langdon/Go-Buster Ranger Red. [[spoiler:Something that becomes important in Chapter 10.]]
** TheDarkChick: Death/Akira. She's the oddball of the group since she actually isn't all that evil or malicious like her fellow teammates, and she is the only one who isn't either a true counterpart to a Ranger or an existing villain. She's Rika's EnemyWithout: all the bad stuff she has done in the past made manifest.
* FiveManBand: The Scouts are as follows...
** TheLeader: [[Series/PowerRangersLightspeedRescue Sean]] by placement, [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Mao]] by actuality, especially when the former's not available. She is the one who calls the shots and gives out plans to the group, and is very no-nonsense towards several things that happen, such as when she finds out that they can pass after Mako's taken.
** TheLancer: Mao by placement, Sean by actuality. He's very realistic like Mao, but he's more prone to calling out any sort of ridiculousness with snark if need be.
** TheBigGuy: [[Series/PowerRangersMysticForce Xander]]. Very heavy-hitting with his attacks and dishes damages out, as Midorungle finds out.
** TheSmartGuy: [[Series/PowerRangersRPM Dan]]. Thinks of tricks that work, such as the moments where he attacks the shadow doubles in order to buy Mao time to fight against Darkuroi.
** TheHeart: [[Series/SamuraiSentaiShinkenger Mako]]. Very caring towards her teammates, and gives them a bit of a pep talk to keep them at ease.
** SixthRanger: [[Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm Tori]] and the aforementioned Dan. After the All-Stars help by having them break free from the spell as Mages, they later join the group and help them.

* LawOfChromaticSuperiority: ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers''' main arc showed why it's not always good. Sean does ascend as the Ultimate Red Legendary Ranger on his own terms, but he ended up getting separated from the groups first, had to go through hell by suffering through Akire's fire army and fighting against his friends, and Aka Red had to make him choose between ascending with very strict rules or die. The sequels are no better, showing him as one of the first people onscreen to lose his powers by his own EvilCounterpart, and said counterpart eventually took his morpher and claimed it as his own after defeating him [[spoiler:temporarily]] in ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers II'', [[spoiler:and witnessing the majority of the Legendary Rangers falling to the Parasite Curse and, later on, Rika's paths in ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III'']]. As the Phantom Ranger noted...

** [[spoiler:The first occurrence was in ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers II'', where Flurious transforms into his giant form seen in the finale of ''Operation Overdrive''.]]
** [[spoiler:In ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III'', that second occurrence was where Neo-Kiros forcefully transformed Nightmare Michael Grayson into Megazord Gear REX.]]

** [[spoiler: Chapters 11-12 has Nightmare Michael Grayson, a very vicious, deteriorated fusion of Michael Grayson and the aforementioned Nightmare, and also controlled by Neo-Kiros himself. Later in the latter chapter, he's turned into Megazord Gear REX.]]

* PowerTrio: While unnamed at the time, ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers II'' has Tim Langdon/Go-Buster Ranger Red, Michael Grayson/Red Lightspeed Ranger, and Orion/Super Megaforce Silver, and their team name is the "Swag Force Rangers". ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III'' will have the Brotherhood of Destruction: [[spoiler:the revived and atoning Conquest, Dante, and Akira.]]

** In the finale, all Rangers and civilians who died offscreen are revived by the Tokusatsu Spirits. [[spoiler:This also includes Akira, Conquest, and Dante, who are all given onscreen deaths.]]

* BreatherEpisode: Chapter 15, stated by the blogger herself to be mostly filler, where Rika rejoins the All-Stars and Legendary Rangers. In comparison to the end of the ''Jetman'' arc, nothing much of importance happens until the very end, where Conquest announces [[spoiler:Sean's death]] to the Legendary Rangers.

** In the ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers'' fanfic proper, Aka Red gives Cole his power to transform into any past Red Ranger, and this form is called "Red Conqueror". [[spoiler:While unintentional, one of the main villains in this arc is named "Conquest", and he later takes Sean's Ultimate Red Legendary Ranger powers (this story's ''Rangers'' equivalent to Aka Red)--making him a near-literal "Red Conqueror".]]

** ''Series/TokumeiSentaiGobusters'' never had a Sentai adaptation, but in this story, there's Tim Langdon, Go-Buster Ranger Red and one of the All-Stars. He's named after the two actors that played [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry Dante]]: Tim Phillipps ([[VideoGame/DMCDevilMayCry Reboot!Dante]]) and Creator/ReubenLangdon (classic Dante).

** As noted by the blogger, Chapter 10 contains several nods to the ''Devil May Cry'' franchise. Aside from the fact that Tim himself is named after two actors known for voicing Dante (see Original Generation above), he's dragged into a shifting landscape known as Limbo, and his weapons share the same name as Dante's. The title "Tim Langdon Must Die!" is based on the "Dante Must Die", "Vergil Must Die", and as of ''[=DmC=] Definitive Edition'', "Gods Must Die" difficulty modes' names. [[spoiler:Finally, War is revealed to be reboot!Dante.]]

** [[spoiler:Sean's new outfit]] takes cues from Captain Marvelous, [[VideoGame/BlazBlue Litchi Faye-Ling]], and Akuma Homura. Specifically, the long jacket, his bare chest wrapped in black bandages, and energy wings shaped like the third character's wings. He also has a red cybernetic arm "not unlike that of [[VideoGame/MetalGearSolidVThePhantomPain Venom Snake's]]".
** RINO's scream before he attacks [[spoiler:Sean]] is based on Springtrap's scream from ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys3''. [[spoiler:The same scream would later be used for the lichified Conquest in Chapter 11 of ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III''.]]

** As revealed in the author's note, chapter 10 is a counter towards Sean Akizuki's treatment of characters he doesn't like. While he makes characters like [[Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive Flurious, the Overdrive Rangers]], and Marah and Kapri bashed and killed, the blogger chooses a character from a video game that she doesn't like, but only because of his actions. She also recognizes that some fans do like him, and she gives him some heroic or good guy scenes in the forms of flashbacks. [[spoiler:That character is reboot!Dante.]]
** [[Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive Will/Black Overdrive Ranger]] turns out to have undergone a plastic surgery after an accident, to distance him from Samuel Benta, as [[EveryoneHasStandards Rika is also not amused with his banner-stealing hijinx]].
* ThemeNaming: The main group of villains, the Four Horsemen, named after the titular HorsemenOfTheApocalypse: Conquest, War, Famine, and Death. [[spoiler:Three of their names are meaningful renames, at that. And those three just happen to be the ones who die and get revived at the end.]]

** Chapter 10, where Tim Langdon/Go-Buster Ranger Red defeats War, one of the Horsemen. [[spoiler:Also includes a revelation that War is actually ''not'' from any of the ''Power Rangers'' or ''Super Sentai'' worlds, he's a brainwashed Dante from ''[=DmC=] Devil May Cry''.]]
** Chapter 12. [[spoiler:Conquest defeats Sean and usurps him as the new Ultimate Red Legendary Ranger.]]
** Chapter 16. [[spoiler:Sean ascends once again, this time with his full powers. RINO is dethroned by Flurious, of all villains, and the former villain kills Conquest brutally, turning into a hybrid of both after eating his heart.]]

* TheCameo: Chris Belmont/Justin Huang and Fantalex/Alex Fantasy from ''Super Sentai vs. Nickelodeon'', Mika Koizumi from ''Bioman'', [[spoiler:the original Kiros from ''Maskman'', the latter representing the ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers'' version, and Kimberly Hart from ''Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers'']] all appear in the finale.
* CerebusSyndrome: The first six chapters are more light-hearted than the previous two installments, with Rangers fighting against monsters of the week and more snarking from Rika. Until Chapter 7. [[spoiler:Where it has Dezumozorlya telling Neo-Kiros to do a particularly...vile thing to Rika's corpse, and the majority of the Legendary Rangers falling to the Parasite Curse. Chapters 8 and 9 confirm the more serious setting, with Gosei showing Rika what her life would be like if she either finds a cure for the Legendary Rangers or saves the world from Dezumozorlya...and they're not pretty.]]

** The third chapter has a line from the book [[spoiler:"The Path of Transcendance"]] from ''VideoGame/TheElderScrollsIVOblivion''.

** Instead of Shunta Fuchino, Neo-Kiros' hypothetical actor would be {{LetsPlay/Markiplier}}. [[spoiler:Shunta would "appear", however, as the "original" Kiros in the final chapter, representing the ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers'' version.]]

* OurLichesAreDifferent: [[spoiler:Conquest and Rika become liches with absolute immortality, and breaking their phylacteries--Conquest's orb and Rika's Legendary Morpher--would not kill them in the least. What makes them different from the usual liches is that they're both heroic instead of evil or malevolent, they do not seek power, and they both have illusion powers to disguise themselves if need be[[note]]Conquest, for example, can use the illusion powers to turn himself into three forms: his normal human-like Revenant form, his sumo-based Sumo Revenant form, and a superpowered knight form known as the Revenant Knight. Rika uses hers to modify any aspect of her physical body[[/note]]. Also worth noting is that their lich forms are based on other media: the ''Skyrim'' mod ''Undeath'' for Conquest, ''Puella Magi Madoka Magica'' for Rika without the Magical Girls' weaknesses.]]

** The creation of Neo-Kiros is fueled by the original Kiros' portrayal in ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers'', and he subverts all the things that version did, including having a lust for women. [[spoiler:The latter version of Kiros does appear in the final chapter, and before he can do bad things to Kimberly in RINO's stead, Rika curb-stomps him and saves the Pink Ranger.]]

** Chapter 6. [[spoiler:Neo-Kiros defeats Rika and steals her morpher.]]
** Chapter 7 right after. [[spoiler:After Dezumozorlya commands Neo-Kiros to rape Rika's corpse and the latter's refusal, Neo-Kiros swears revenge towards his former master. Doubly so when most of the Legendary Rangers fall victim to the Parasite Curse.]]
** Chapter 8. [[spoiler:Gosei shows Rika a future of what would happen if she decides to cure the Legendary Rangers of the Parasite Curse. She would be branded a villain for failing to stop Dezumozorlya, his control over the people taking hold long after his death, and she would be executed.]]
** Chapter 9. [[spoiler:The second path's revealed, showing what would happen if Rika throws the Legendary Rangers under the bus and let them die while she fights Dezumozorlya. She would be forever saving the world with the citizens growing complacent, but she would be turned into a hideous blob-like monster one hundred years from now.]]
** Chapter 10. [[spoiler:The Brotherhood of Destruction's finally captured, and Conquest makes the ultimate choice of going through the Lichdom ritual.]]
** Chapter 11. [[spoiler:Conquest is turned into an immortal lich, and he, Akira, and Dante wipe the floor with Dezumozorlya, who was weakened by none other than Neo-Kiros himself. And speaking of him, he successfully usurps him, Neo-Vypra, and Octoroo as the Big Bad, and he kidnaps Michael Grayson and turns him into a fusion of the cyborg ninja and Nightmare.]]
** Chapter 12, [[spoiler:where Rika seemingly dies after killing Neo-Kiros and restoring Michael back to normal, but Conquest enchanted her morpher to house her soul the moment she executed the Thousand Arrows attack, turning her into a Lich.]]

The second, ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III'', is released in 2016. The story covers the aforementioned ''Super Sentai vs. Nickelodeon'', and it serves as the GrandFinale of the series. In it, the new villains led by [[Series/BakuryuuSentaiAbaranger Dezumozorlya]] try to distract the heroes so that way, the leader will become a Lich and reshape the world in his image, even if it means wiping out his enemies in the process. What he doesn't know is that a group is trying to uncover the secrets before he does, and as the story goes on, there is more than what meets the eye.

While ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III'' is intended to be the GrandFinale of the original story, in late August 2016, ''Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers 3.5'' is released, serving as an extra story featuring a few unused characters. In it, Dan Ewing, Xander Bly, and Dante Sparda try to survive in an island as part of their male bonding exercise. What they don't know is that they'll face very odd adventures featuring half of the ''[[Series/PowerRangersMegaforce Super Megaforce]]'' cast and some mysterious dance teams...

* ADayInTheLimelight: The story portions focus on Dan, Xander, and Dante, with Andrew, Ciara, and Cameron from ''Power Rangers Super Megaforce'' joining the fray starting in Chapter 2. * OriginalGeneration: This story introduces Professor Hannah Harrison, Dr. Edward Payne's daughter. Edward himself would have counted if not for the fact that he was first conceived as a replacement character for ''Dino Thunder'' if Jason David Frank never returned.
