** Talia, specifically towards Claire. When she saw Claire hitching a ride with Steve to a Papa skull concert, she was quick to assume that Claire was just messing with Jim’s feelings and was hanging out with Steve. She overreacts and begins acting aggressive towards Claire, even if she tries to explain that it wasn’t how it looked. When Jim explains that Claire and Steve have nothing to do with each other, Talia mentally hits herself for jumping to conclusions too quickly. Luckily, the girls make amends with Talia apologizing to Claire during their time in the hospital.

Jim Lake Jr. and Talia Sturges have been best friends since childhood. However, when Jim is chosen to protect a secret civilization underneath their feet as the Trollhunter, Talia realizes that she is a part of a great destiny as big as her dear brother's as well: she is the last remaining descendant of an ancient warrior clan known as the Silver Lions, and the direct descendant of the Lions' chieftain, Leo the Slayer. However, it is also learned that the Silver Lions and the Trolls were once bitter enemies before the clan's extinction. Talia and Jim and their friends must all work together to protect human and trollkind from Gunmar and keep the world of magic a secret from Arcadia to protect it.

Lions.

** Talia had been friends with Jim and Toby since childhood. Now they find a mysterious mystical amulet from the canal. They find themselves caught in a vast world civilization of Trolls beneath their very feat.

** Talia is now trapped in the Darklands and has been forced to join the resistance. If she ever has any chance of survival and rescues her little friends, Jinx and Chompsky, and to find Claire's baby brother, Enrique, she'll have to learn their ways and unlock her hidden potential.

** Jim went into the Darklands alone in hopes of finding his friend before Gunmar notices. Marshall struggles earning back his friends' trust. Talia still remains with the resistance until she finds a way to save Enrique, but when she hears of Jim's presence, things could've gotten better.

** Jim and Talia are trapped in the Darklands and are now being held prisoner by Gunmar. Good news is their friends are making a plan to rescue them, but the bad news is Talia has somehow fallen into some kind of illness that is disrupting her powers, thanks to whatever the Gumm-Gumms did to her. Their only chances of survival is getting back home.

** Team Trollhunters had been sent to the past and must face Tellad-Urr the Terrible. Jim must help prepare and train Gogun the Gentle and meet two unexpecting allies to help along the way. Meanwhile, Talia is stuck in the present dealing with Vendel's grandfather, Kilfred, from getting the trolls into trouble and babysitting the Creepslayerz at the same time. How'll they fix this?

Trope has been renamed to Diagnosed By The Audience and made YMMV. Removing for not fitting the definition.

* AmbiguousDisorder: It is likely that Talia may be diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, since it is mentioned and implied many times that she has had a lot of trouble handling her emotions and often lashes out. Justified as she was nearly killed in a car accident when she was ''five-years-old'' and was almost eaten by Bular, which clearly traumatized her emotionally.

* FiveManBand: Five warrior teenagers who possess magical artifacts, weapons, and abilities.
** Jim is TheLeader, the beating heart of Team Trollhunters.
** Toby is TheLancer, often the moral support of his friends and voice of reason.
** Claire is TheChick, but she is clearly a DamselOutOfDistress.
** Marshall is TheSmartGuy, as he's very observant and intelligent.
** Talia is TheBigGuy, figuratively since she is dubbed as one of the best fighters.

* TheLastOfHisKind: Ever since Adam Sturges's death at the hands of Bular, Talia is the very last Silver Lion still alive.
* MagicalGirlWarrior: Like her niece, June is a highly trained sorceress and has the ability to engage in hand-to-hand combat, even able to fight toe-to-toe with ''Angor Rot'' himself.
* MagicEnhancement: One of Talia's most divine powers is the Power of Enhancement, the ability to increase her ally's potential one hundred fold, and it also makes her a LivingBattery of sorts. However, [[PowerLimiter there is a limit of great power to whom she can enhance as her lion spirit, Dawn, cannot enhance a wizard's potential]].

* MysticalPlague: Although Gravesand makes Changelings and Trolls stronger, it is seriously lethal to Silver Lions. In this case, when Dictatious (against his common sense) infects Talia with Gravesand, she is left weak and sick and unable to access her lion spirit. Thus, she is rendered unable to revitalize Gunmar or even operate as a backup key to Gunmar’s escape from the Darklands. The longer the Gravesand remains in her system, the weaker she gets to where she's on the verge of death. Only an elixir antidote can cure her, consisting of a Citrine Stone, white rose petals, and the blood of a pure-hearted Troll.

* TheWorfEffect: [[ActionGirl Talia]] (after weeks of training from Skarlagk) has managed to overcome Gunmar in the Darklands, but this is because he wasn't at full strength. In ''Age of Lions'', a revitalized Gunmar managed to [[CurbStompBattle curb-stomp]] Talia into submission, showing what a serious threat the Skullcrusher's become to her since escaping the Darklands.

[[PokeInTheThirdEye only to be knocked unconscious by a mysterious woman's voice that shocked him immensely]]. Ever since then, Marshall wondered who or what that voice was. Later on, while investigating the mysteries of ''The Book of Ga-Huel'', he hears more voices, warning him of the danger that was coming. However, Marshall is not completely able to hide his edginess. Toby and Claire both notice how weird the wizard-in-training's been acting ever since the Janus Order, knowing that there is something going on with Marshall that he doesn't want to tell them.
** Straight with Talia in ''Age of Lions''. Ever since learning that Vendel had been murdered by Usurna, Talia had become [[DespairEventHorizon very silent and gloom in the beginning]]. She doesn't even lash out at Steve when he teases Jim, something that took both boys by surprise and knew something was up.

This or these examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected, or something is just an innate aspect of the setting or character that has a logical reason for being present); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** Although Talia means well, she has a big record of beating up bullies ''badly'', which results in her getting detention and a lecture from her aunt.
** When Talia uses her air magic to snuff out fire in a fireworks warehouse... she ends up increasing the mass of the fire.
