* RealityEnsues: Rita Skeeter takes Gilderoy Lockhart as her Yule Ball date at the same Yule Ball where Barty Sr. and Elsie have their first dance. She despises his arrogance and self-obsession, but still goes with him because he's the most handsome boy at Hogwarts and she insists on having the best arm candy. They marry shortly after graduating Hogwarts, and it lasts all of two years before ending in a very messy and very public divorce.
