*** Doubly so because we only see one instance of her getting new goods for sale, when she and Link visit the city of the griffins. It's understandable that she would search the marketplace for rare goods to obtain, as they would not be available elsewhere and thus sell for higher prices. What makes no sense at all is that she only buys one bolt of a very rare cloth and then makes plans with Link to have it made into a dress for her. As opposed to, you know, ''selling'' it.

** In one of the author's rants, she actually threatened to copyright the story. [[FrivolousLawsuit Never mind the fact that]] [[YouFailLawForever Nintendo owns the franchise...]]

*** Let's also remember that Link isn't really a character; he's a placeholder for the player. He's an avatar; that's why he doesn't have dialog. Basically, this means that Jen is effectively having lucid dreams about having sex with ''herself''.
**** Insert Squick.

''herself''. Insert Squick.

** It certainly doesn't help that Jenna constantly reminds us how her marriage is seen by the king as the closest he'd get to having a daughter wed and that Jenna's children are seen as the closest the king as to grandchildren.

** Given that she apparently is able to grow all of her and Link's food and be extremely intimate with him in a hot tub very shortly before she's due to give birth to her first child, the former seems to be the case there.

*** Actually, the training thing was used to explain how she could untie herself (a skill which also came right the fuck out of nowhere). Her cat instincts are never really explained at all.

**** Given how Jenna and the author both harp on about how sexy and handsome Link is, it seems more like the author was having lucid dreams about having sex with a blow-up doll. That might actually explain Link's lack of personality in the story.

** It certainly doesn't help that Jenna constantly reminds us how her marriage is seen by the king as the closest he'd get to having a daughter wed and that Jenna's children are seen as the closest the king as to grandchildren.

** There's also the horrible anti-feminism going on, with Jenna constantly going on and on about how having a husband and children make her life complete, how she drops her job to get married, how she constantly clings to Link, how she always makes a point of riding ''behind'' him, etc. It's possible that the author was trying to write as if it were medieval times, with old-fashioned female roles, but that doesn't work since (A) Jenna also tries to paint herself as independent and strong and (B) there's no evidence that women in ''Ocarina of Time'' are so limited.

The story followed the exploits of a girl named Jenna Silverblade, a traveling merchant who meets and falls in love with Link. She then proceeds to marry him, have lots of sex with him while grunting like tigers in heat (seriously, that exact simile is used), and bear his babies. Along the way, the couple takes part in a [[{{Squick}} bizarre]] bonding ceremony, battles Dark Link, and discovers that Jenna is descended from a made-up race of magical people who can control the elements. And as if ''that'' weren't bad enough, the writer was a known drama queen who did NOT take to criticism of any kind.
