* AscendedExtra: A large number of characters fall under this trope, at least compared to [[WesternAnimation/LiloAndStitchTheSeries the original series]]. Such characters include (in order of their creation) [[NeatFreak Felix]], [[ShockAndAwe Sparky]], [[TheScream Belle]], [[TheAce Ace]], [[MakeMeWannaShout Yaarp]] and Angel. (Felix, Sparky and Angel only fall under this trope compared to the original series, due to them falling under this trope in the anime, and Sparky appearing in ''Kingdom Hearts''.) All these experiments become major characters following their debut. (Although Angel was captured in her debut episode, "Snafu" takes place only three episodes later, and she becomes an important motive in the two episodes between "Angel" and "Snafu".)

** In "Frenchfry", the Aesop is that it's important to eat healthy, but Dr. Koopa keeps babbling on how Nani can't prevent him from eating burgers, which he justifies by reminding everyone of his princiary status. Furthermore, he also sates "''All'' food is healthier when homemade", which is contradicted by Frenchfry, who makes homemade food, but it's extremely unhealthy.

* KissingCousins: Remember, this is ''Lilo & Stitch'' we're talking about. Various experiments have a romantic interest to each other, but they all call each other "cousins". Not to mention the fact some fans might see this as BrotherSisterIncest because they have the same creator. WordOfGod stated this trope isn't a problem, however, since [[RealityEnsues cousin marriage is legal in Hawaii]].

* CultureClash: In regards of KissingCousins: first of all, Lilo states that, in Hawaii, people call each other "cousins" because the entire community is one big ''ʻohana''; secondly, cousin marriage is legal in Hawaii; thirdly, according to WordOfGod, the experiments only think they're cousins because the first thing Stitch does to bond with them is to call them "cousins", which overlaps with what Lilo stated about ''ʻohana''.

* AdaptationalExplanation: The fact Terra sees good into Stitch is explained by an anti-Hamsterviel program that Jumba developed while creating Angel, but forgot to install it into her. When Stitch would meet Angel, the program would be uploaded into the latter, and if he'd fail, [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer he'd be treated like an outcast by the other experiments]]. Of course, RuleOfRomantic made everyone forget about this program when Stitch eventually meets Angel.

* FridgeBrilliance: It may seem obvious that Gantu managing to capture several experiments builds up rage inside Metallix, but why does Metallix seem calm when Gantu captured Tank, Hunkahunka, Fibber, Nosy, Amnesio and Poxy, yet when Angel is captured, he goes in UnstoppableRage mode? Well, consider this: in the original film, Lilo spends so much time with Stitch trying to help him become a better person only for nothing to improve for her and him (or so it seemed before the climax hit), she runs out of patience with him, telling him to go away after he accidentally destroys her house in his fight with Jumba. If you think about it, Angel is the only one of the experiments that Gantu captured who managed to improve as a person, despite the fact Angel only improved as a person because she realizes she loves Stitch. Metallix didn't go berserk because Gantu was ruining his ship; he went berserk because [[HeelFaceDoorSlam Gantu tried to make Angel's redemption be for nothing]].

* PrincessPhase: In "Spooky", aside from the obvious [[EnforcedTrope enforce of this trope on Mertle's part]], Angel plays it straight: she disguises herself as a princess, and even convinced Stitch to dress as a prince. Although, when Stitch's costume is ruined, Angel consoles Stitch by telling him he always was her Prince Charming, ever since she realized she actually had feelings for him.
