* IGaveMyWord: Discussed and weaponized. Percy possesses one of Theseus' Noble Phantasms, the three favors he received from Poseidon that he promised to answer no matter what. Although Percy hopes to use these wishes to restore enough of Poseidon's personality to hold a conversation, Chiron advises him against that, as the gods repeatedly breath their oaths and forgo their favors for their own convenience. Percy knows this but remains steadfast, as though oaths from Poseidon mean nothing to Chiron, as Poseidon's son, his oaths mean the world to Percy, just as Poseidon rushed to his aid during the Battle of Manhattan.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:N to Z]]

* NotAfraidToDie: Despite Chiron's pleas, Percy is resolute in his desire to confront Poseidon and potentially fight him to death with full knowledge that he ''will'' die in the attempt, as handling enough power to duel his father will inevitably kill him.

* TakingYouWithMe: Discussed by Percy. He tells Hephaestus that giving anything less than his all against Poseidon is tantamount to suicide anyways, so he asks Hephaestus to crank up the power of his copy of Poseidon's Trident to the maximum rather than trying to make it safe for him to use. If his body is going to crumble from handling the power of a god and he expects to die anyway, he might as well make it a fight with some chances.

* DeathOfPersonality: After taking his Lostbelt counterpart's memories, Chiron explains to Percy that Zeus completely wiped Poseidon's memory and reprogrammed him into a subservient attack dog that circles the entrance to Olympus to guard it from intruders. Because of this, reasoning with him would be useless, as [[ReforgedIntoAMinion he's essentially become an extension of Zeus' will.]] Despite this, Percy wants to try anyways, using the three favors Poseidon promised Theseus along with their bond as father and son in hopes of being able to start a conversation at the least.
* DeflectorShield: Hephaestus sends for Minerva to help him make the Aegis for Percy. Also known as the Divine Corpus Bounded Field, it is essentially the force field used by all of the gods back when they were ships. Making one for Percy would essentially give him the protection of a god, but against the likes of Poseidon, it would only even the odds enough that Percy would be able to withstand two or three non-fatal blows before it crumbles.

* DiscardAndDraw: In order to obtain armor and weaponry that will give him some chance of victory, Percy offers up several of the Noble Phantasms in his possession to Hephaestus. Among them, he hands over the Golden Fleece, Medusa's head, Riptide, his father's trident, his father's armor, the Nemean Lion's pelt, and Pandora's Box.

* FlingALightIntoTheFuture: Percy hands Pandora's Box to Hephaestus, telling him to "just hand it to the next guy", in case he doesn't survive his battle with Poseidon.

* IndyPloy: While teaming up with Chiron to face off against Lostbelt Chiron, Pan-Human Chiron asks Percy to make a distraction so he can ambush Lostbelt Chiron from behind. He leaves the rest of the details up to Percy, who more or less shrugs and rolls with it.

* ForceAndFinesse: Percy's Noble Phantasms and raw strength makes him the force to Chiron's finesse. Percy is able to plow through most of his problems simply due to being far better equipped and more powerful, while Chiron's strategic expertise, wealth of knowledge, and general ability to see the larger picture makes him equally valuable even when he isn't slaughtering his foes with his bow or Pankration.

* AudienceSurrogate: Zigzagged. Percy is an ExperiencedProtagonist who has saved the world time and again and lived through Greek myth in the modern day, but he's also completely unaware of the gods' secret history as machines from another world or the notions of Servants or Lostbelts. Because of this, numerous pieces of information are introduced to the reader by others telling it to him.

* AwesomeButImpractical: It's noted that while Percy is a ludicrously strong Servant, his strength and arsenal of skills and Noble Phantasms make his upkeep absolutely ruinous. Because of this, he'd be virtually impossible to utilize in a Holy Grail War without the aid of an external power source. The only reason he's able to operate at all is the fact that the Lostbelt is rich with mana due to the Age of Gods never ending on top of being supercharged with the Klironomia of several Greek gods to compensate for his energy costs. If he hadn't gotten those nanomachines, he would have faded away before he even finished his first fight.

Percy speculates that his outrageous mana costs are the reason why he wasn't summoned to save the world when human history was incinerated by Goetia, and he was only summoned into the Atlantic Lostbelt because it was the only place he'd actually have a chance of lasting long enough to fight.

Percy even admits that as much as he might disagree with Zeus's personality, policies, or actions, the one thing he'd ''never'' dispute is that Zeus could tear him apart in a one-on-one fight. This even extends to their Klironomia. While they were able to operate independently alone, Percy can feel the Zeus Klironomia enforcing a strict hierarchy upon the others after he steals it from Lostbelt Chiron.

* SplitPersonalityMerge: Chiron explains this as a possible risk of absorbing his Lostbelt counterpart. Absorbing him would mean reliving Lostbelt Chiron's life, meaning that Chiron would experience 14,000 years of memories in an instant. Because of this, he isn't sure if it will change his personality or not, and Percy is so unenrved that he offers to just kill Lostbelt Chiron on the spot. But Chiron takes the plunge anyways, deeming the information Lostbelt Chiron has too valuable to pass up. Luckily, Chiron pulls through and is still the same as ever.

* TemptingFate: DoubleSubverted. When Percy is about to kill Caenis, he loudly announces his intention expecting to have someone swoop in to save her in case she's some god's favorite child, lover or ex-roommate. When no one appears, Percy shrugs and gets ready to go through with it until Wodime tears a hole in space and tells him to stop.

* GodzillaThreshold: Zeus combining with the Olympians into a super Megazord to defeat Sefar is seen as this. But the process is so uncomfortable and awful that the other Olympians that they were willing to die rather than do it, comparing it to a violation of their very selves. While they didn't need to do this in Pan-Human History, Lostbelt Zeus took the option out of their hands.

* PsychicDreamsForEveryone: Percy has a dream of Olga Marie on the day of her death, seeing everything up the point that the control room was bombed and listening to all of her thoughts. He then sees the Priestess of the Alien God before the dream ends. This is also why Percy is able to recognize Wodime on sight, though he doesn't know that Wodime is now one of the Crypters who began the Lostbelt crisis.

* TheAce: Percy is a tremendously powerful Servant with amazing stats, a laundry list of skills, and a HyperspaceArsenal of Noble Phantasms. He utterly thrashes both Caenis and Lostbelt Chiron, who both threatened to wipe out Chaldea in the original game, even while holding back to avoid the wrath of the gods. That said, he ''has'' to be this, lest he be slaughtered like so many other Servants summoned to fight in the Lostbelt.

* {{Nanomachines}}: The Greek gods are able to bestow a small fraction of their Authorities upon people they choose through special nanomachines called Klironomia, which are referred to as the legacies of the gods. Being implanted with them gives normal people the power to take on Demonic Beasts and even Servants, but the gods' special brand of Klironomia offers a much sharper boost in power and have special abilities. For instance, Demeter's Klironomia, Ambrosia, grants a powerful HealingFactor and eternal youth. Percy takes on several of these throughout the story to strengthen himself and manage his mana costs.

* TakesOneToKillOne: Poseidon and Demeter are the same class of ship due to their mutual use in terraforming and manufacturing. Because of this, Percy's possession of Poseidon's Authority allows him to unravel Demeter's Authority, nullifying her Klironomia and enabling him to kill those who would otherwise simply heal away their injuries.

* InstantExpert: Discussed. Percy is baffled by how comfortable he is with Rip[tide's new laser function even though he never used it in life. Chiron explains this as a consequence of being summoned as a Servant, but the metaphysics quickly bore Percy.

* OnlyTheChosenMayWield: Having been gifted his father's Divine Core, Percy is able to activate machines that would normally only be accessible to the Olympians or those working for them. He gets numerous doses of nanomachines this way. He's also been bestowed with the armor and trident of Poseidon, enhancing his already immense powers.

* ThereCanOnlyBeOne: Normally, Chiron would have been absorbed by his Lostbelt version almost immediately due to the latter being the more powerful existence. Chiron was only spared because the gods were unsure of how this would affect Lostbelt Chiron. Because of this, Percy uses his nanomachines to counter the critically injured Lostbelt Chiron's own to allow Chiron to take over his body.

The only reason he's able to operate at all is the fact that the Lostbelt is rich with mana due to the Age of Gods never ending on top of being supercharged with the Kilronomia of several Greek gods to compensate for his energy costs. If he hadn't gotten those nanomachines, he would have faded away before he even finished his first fight.

* BrainsAndBrawn: Percy and Chiron form this duo. Percy is the Brawn, having been supercharged by the Kilronomia he's been taking in as well as his wide array of Noble Phantasms and skills that make him a OneManArmy. Chiron is the brains, as he is still the wiser and more calculating of the two of them and has more knowledge of what exactly is going on in the Lostbelt.

* DeityOfHumanOrigin: Percy was born SemiDivine, but is currently a full-fledged Divine Spirit due to being gifted Poseidon's Divine Core. While this bumps up his strength, it makes his mana consumption even more ridiculous and he needs several doses of Kilronomia to be able to fight properly and it isn't until he takes in Athena's and Ares' Kilronomia for him to be able to fight at full strength.
* DoesNotKnowHisOwnStrength: Percy knows that he has new powers as a Servant that he never had when he was alive, but he doesn't know just how exceptional he is until Chiron shows shock at just how many Noble Phantasms he has. It's also played more conventionally when Percy suffers the effects of forcibly taking on Zeus' Kilronomia. His body starts spasming so badly that when he tries to grip a tree for support, he ends up ripping it out of the ground and pulls it apart while trying to let go of it.

* SoLastSeason: Discussed by the author. He's aware that Gilgamesh originally held the title of being the strongest character in the Nasuverse courtesy of owning Ea and having enough Noble Phantasms to take down even Arcueid Brunestud. This has made Gil the de facto measuring stick for power in the Nasuverse, but even he has been eclipsed by the Servants shown in ''Fate/Grand Order'', namely gods like Lostbelt Zeus, Arjuna Over Gods, and other top gods like Quetzalcoatl and Ishtar at her full strength.
