This is impressive in its own right because it's a double instance of StaringDownCthulhu, where Shirou actually [[ShameIfSomethingHappened threatens to HURT]] an EldritchAbomination to HOLD IN CHECK his very badass boss. It's more this trope than StaringDownCthulhu because it's actually used as a bargaining chip to ensure no one gets flak from Shirou's machinations.
