* ScarsAreForever: Decades have passed since the restaurant franchise opened but every animatronic and ghost are still as scarred as the day the scars were inflicted.

* TheArtifact: Due to the age of the A.U. (having been conceived in December of 2014 and developed in 2015 onwards), there are a lot of old remnants from the history of the games and the fandom that persist to this day.

** Mangle is the perpetrator of the Bite of 1987 and the 1983 incident is instead a fatal head-crushing by Fredbear.

** Out of universe, the characters were first drawn on unmodified [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyEquestriaGirls MLP EG bases]]. Colors were far simpler, designs were largely without detail and some of the hairstyles, poses and items used were different. The Animatronics are both naïve and innocent and both tend to play into each other however they also are aware of the horrors of the world and hold a jaded view of it in some regards. All in all, their innocence bleeds into their naïveté as their naïveté bleeds into their innocence while retaining a bleak view of reality and awareness to far too much yet at the same time knowing almost nothing at all about reality.
* InexplicablyTailless: Averted. While many animatronics canonically don't have tail in the games (all animatronics sans Funtime Foxy, Monty Gator and Roxanne Wolf), in this A.U., all tailed-animals have the appropriate tail for their species with slightly cartoonish proportions.
