Needless to say, Izuku is not too heartbroken when she leaves, although he does still tell her she can return whenever she wants.

When one of his party members offers to act as the recipient of his fifty million eris' debt with Izuku (which he got because he went LeeroyJenkins and challenged Izuku to a duel even after being warned not to do it), he says he will return with the money - only to leave Axel without even giving said party member a way to contact him or even survive on her own, clearly intending to saddle her with the debt, forcing her to join Izuku's party.

* WomanScorned: Aela, one of Kyouya's party members, offers to temporarily act as the recipient of Kyouya's fifty million eris debt the swordsman contracted with Izuku in the aftermath of being defeated in the duel.
