** Severus Snape. In canon, he was bullied by the Marauders, with James and Sirius particularly being guilty of harrasing him for no reason on occasion. In this fic however, he is instead a snobbish prick who picks and insults Remus, thus making the Marauders' actions against him [[LaserGuidedKarma a lot more justifiable]], with James and Sirius instead coming out as simply trying to protect their friend. Despite this, he still has a relatively good relationship with Lily Evans.
