Even ''Hoyden'' has had fantasies about Big Mac [[spoiler:and somehow knows Big Mac [[IfYouKnowWhatIMean lives up to his name]]]].

* Jossed: Somewhat averted. After the premiere of Luna's own episode, "Lunar Eclipsed", the author declared Progress to take place after the Nightmare Night episode. Given My Little Pony's [[OutOfOrder weird episode chronology]], the author hopes it's not too much of a stretch.

** Luna's speech when getting a room with Sundance in "Luna vs. Lodging 1" is extremely reminiscent of when [[DoctorWho The]] [[TheNthDoctor 11th]] [[DoctorWho Doctor]] was getting a flat in [[Recap/DoctorWhoS31E11TheLodger "The Lodger."]]

In the "Progressverse," the smooze from the G1 movie was pretty much how it would be if it was a real EldritchAbomination, and it attempted to devour Equestria during that time. When it was revealed that he sacrificed himself to by time for all the ponies to be saved, ManlyTears were shed along with any possible tears that Luna, Sundance, or Hoyden shed.]]
