* TheBrainlessBeauty: While it's a bit harsh to call her 'brainless', Dawn doesn't exactly come off as the sharpest knife in the drawer, either. She has moments of cleverness, and can definitely function well under pressure, but in general she seems to fit the stereotype of a girl who relies heavily on her beauty (and superpowers) to get her out of trouble, rather than her wits.

A Fanfic by that crosses over (Literally!) from "Series/BuffytheVampireSlayer to Series/StargateSG1, 'All Your Base Are Belong To Her' is a Dawn-centric story. In this version of things, Buffy stays dead following the events of the Season Five finale, while Dawn discovers that the ritual atop the tower has left her with some sliver of her 'Keyness' still active--namely, she can 'unlock' anything that can be unlocked. Two years pass, during which she deals with her rage and despair over her sister's loss by stealing everything within reach. Eventually Willow becomes fed up with this behavior, and attempts to mystically bind Dawn's powers. Things go awry, and Dawn is accidentally exiled to the Between, the space between dimensions. From there she manages to make her way back to Earth... but it isn't her Earth. Also, because she slips back into the material world in a location that is specifically designed to facilitate the passage of living beings via wormholes, Dawn finds herself standing within a large metal ring... on the deepest level of America's most secure military installation. Needless to say, the military personnel she encounters are not amused.

* DistractedByMyOwnSexy: Dawn readily admits to being quite vain, and at one point happily lists her favorite things about her appearance (effectively everything about her appearance): beautiful face, pale, perfect skin, long, lovely hair, a killer body, and gorgeous blue-green eyes. While stealing armloads of clothes and jewelry from a high-end boutique which is well-equipped with mirrors, she has trouble keeping her eyes off her reflection--though to be fair this was partly because of her fascination with her newly-acquired GlowingEyes.

* NotSoDifferent: While Dawn doesn't realize it, the descriptions of her self-centered vanity and her general brattiness means that she ends up coming off very similarly to Glory.
** Wellll... other than the fact that while Dawn is selfish, self-absorbed, bratty, and only interested in pleasing herself and indulging her every whim in a basically victim-free way, Glory is all those things, and is additionally a raving, cruel, omnicidal maniac who's not only willing to torture and kill anyone who even slightly inconveniences her, but enjoys doing it. So, while they share a few traits, Glory is light-years worse in the ways that really matter.

* ScrewTheRulesIHaveSupernaturalPowers: Dawn again, to an Epic degree. She was bad enough back in the Buffyverse, where a small remnant of her awakened Key abilities remained active even after Buffy sacrificed herself. When she enters SG:1's universe, however, and puzzles out her brand new Teleportation abilities, she lives this trope with joyful abandon. Basically, if there is something shiny, fashionable or valuable lying unattended anywhere in Colorado, she'll get around to taking it eventually.
* SmokingIsGlamorous: Dawn smokes occasionally, and invokes this trope as justification for it. She goes so far as to blame badgirl Faith as the one who acted as a bad (but sexy) rolemodel to an 'impressionable' young Dawn, by looking entirely too hot while smoking cigarettes.

* RapunzelHair: Dawn apparently continued to grow her hair out after Buffy's death, as it is now well past her hips. It's striking enough that it's the first thing Jack notices about her, and Daniel notes it as he's assembling an mental profile of the mysterious intruder.

* ShesAllGrownUp: Though she was already quite pretty as a young teen, Dawn has come along nicely in the two years or so since the end of Buffy Season Five, and is acknowledged by most (though not all) of the characters as being legitimately gorgeous.
** Though by chapter 5, we learn that her appearance is shifting verrrrrrrrrrry slowly into something closer to Buffy's appearance, since she is, in effect, a mystical clone of her sister. Dawn doesn't seem too troubled by this, as Buffy was quite beautiful in her own right (though as she continues to lose height over a period of months she does hope that she doesn't end up as short as Buffy... or even shorter).

* WeightWoe: Dawn is shown in flashback to have gained a moderate amount of weight after Buffy's death. When Faith expressed (admittedly mild) disapproval of this development, Dawn was so stricken that she became mildly anorexic and driven to lose weight so as to please Faith. Flash forward a year, and Dawn has achieved her target weight and figure, and is fine with being constantly hungry if it means she can love what she sees in the mirror and turn heads wherever she goes.

Chapter Two details Dawn's efforts to escape the base while being pursued by every Airman in the Mountain.

* MenAreStrongWomenArePretty: Dawn frequently wishes for a strong protector to, well, protect her, from the various threats and perils she encounters in the Stargate Universe. Perhaps excusable given how she was conditioned to expect this in her home reality, with first Buffy, then Spike, and eventually Faith all willingly devoting themselves to keeping her safe. With such powerful champions there to defend her, and with no physical powers of her own, Dawn seems to have accepted that she will always need someone to fight for her.

* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: At some point before the story begins, Dawn and Faith seem to have been in a relationship. Granted, this is Faith we're talking about.

* HowDoIShotWeb: Upon arrival in the universe inhabited by SG:1, Dawn quickly discovers that being the Key allows her to interface with the Stargate network on a fundamental level. She only learns what that means through a process of trial and error... all while being pursued through the entire Cheyenne Mountain complex by large numbers of armed and irate Airmen.

* TeleportSpam: Within certain limitations, link with the Stargate allows her to perform this.

* SmokingIsGlamorous: Dawn smokes occasionally, and invokes this trope as justification for it. She goes so far as to blame sexy badgirl Faith as the one who acted as a bad rolemodel to an impressionable young Dawn, by looking entirely too hot while smoking cigarettes.
* TeleportSpam: Within certain limitations, link with the Stargate allows her to perform this.

* DistractedByTheSexy: A female to male instance, as Dawn immediately focuses her attention on Dr. Daniel Jackson. Various other random instances as minor characters make it quite clear that Dawn herself is quite attractive.

* RapunzelHair: Dawn apparently continued to grow her hair out after Buffy's death, as it is now past her hips. It's striking enough that it's the first thing Jack notices about her, and Daniel notes it as he's assembling an mental profile of the mysterious intruder.

* FragileSpeedster: Dawn embodies this trope despite not actually having super speed. Her extreme mobility is derived via Teleportation, but in all other respects she's still a slender and untrained and non-athletic young woman who is in serious trouble if anyone manages to land a solid hit.

All Your Base Are Belong To Her

A Fanfic that crosses over (Literally!) from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Stargate SG:1, 'All Your Base Are Belong To Her' is a Dawn-centric story.

* BrattyTeenageDaughter: Dawn's personality, thanks to not having Buffy around, plus over two years of effectively running wild in her universe and stealing anything and everything that wasn't nailed down.
