* ''Marvel's Series/AgentsOfSHIELD'' has a few Fake Americans in the supporting cast:
** Ethiopian-Irish actress Ruth Negga portrays Raina, a Thai woman presumably raised in America judging by her accent.
** English actress Saffron Burrows plays another American, Agent Victoria Hand.
** Nepalese-Australian actress Creator/DichenLachman is an odd case, as she plays the Chinese character Jiaying, who nonetheless speaks English with a distinctly American accent (possibly justified in-universe due to her husband being American, though he claims that they met when she worked as his Chinese translator due to her already perfect spoken English, so it remains something of a mystery in-story).

** "American" Companion Peri Brown is played by British Nicola Bryant. Her accent was all over the map in her early episode, but got better the longer she played the character. Bryant has confirmed in interviews that when she joined the series an attempt was made to hide the fact she was British, to the point where she was asked to stay "in character" as an American even for TV interviews. The charade lasted only a few months before she was allowed to be a Brit again off-camera.

* Every ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' season from ''[[Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm Ninja Storm]]'' through ''[[Series/PowerRangersRPM RPM]]'', due to a move to New Zealand, has had a number of New Zealanders with Fake Californian accents, including with it [[OohMeAccentsSlipping a certain amount of slippage]] (in such a way that, famously, Xander had to be handwaved as a native Aussie in ''[[Series/PowerRangersMysticForce Mystic Force]]'' [[RealLifeWritesThePlot because Richard Brancatisano ]][[NotEvenBotheringWithTheAccent couldn't hide his accent]]). The most obviously Fake American is probably Bede Skinner (who plays Jarrod in ''[[Series/PowerRangersJungleFury Jungle Fury]]''). Beginning with ''[[Series/PowerRangersSamurai Samurai]]'', Americans were cast as the Rangers themselves, but all of the extras are still Kiwi.

** Across the Pacific, any American Ranger in SuperSentai is played by a Japanese Native. Series/BattleFeverJ and Series/ZyudenSentaiKyoryuger both featured American's in the Pink Ranger Role (BattleFeverJ has a ton of fake Nationality due to being a Multi-National team. Kyoryuger, being the second "Dance" themed series after BattleFeverJ is probably deliberately homaging their American Pink Ranger.). Kyoryuger is especially bizarre as one of the other Rangers is played by a Canadian born (and first ever non-Japanese decent actor), but is said to be from Europe. ShurikenSentaiNinninger featured an American-themed Sixth Ranger, also played by a native Japanese actor. NinjaSentaiKakkuranger does actually avert this, as the Black Ranger was played by an American born actor. His real life problems with speaking Japanese as a second language were worked into the plot.

* British actor Creator/JamieBamber has used a nearly flawless American accent in nearly all of his US TV appearances--Series/ColdCase, Series/CSIMiami, Series/{{House}}, Series/GhostWhisperer, MondayMornings, Series/RizzoliAndIsles, Series/{{NCIS}},''Series/{{Battlestar Galactica|2003}}'', etc., leaving people genuinely shocked to hear him speak in his natural accent. However, he has US citizenship despite having been born in London--his father is American, which automatically grants him this.

* Tracy Ullman, one British comedian, used a number of different American accents on her various sketch shows. She said that most British actors tend to sound very nasal when doing an American accent.

* ''GenerationKill'': Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard plays US Marine Brad Colbert. His accent isn't entirely accurate at times, but it lends itself toward Colbert's status as Bravo Company's "Iceman" and CulturedWarrior.
