* Believe it or not, one episode of the kids' show ''Mist: Sheepdog Tales'' involves a sheep who's fallen over and is surrounded by crows who are planning to '''peck her eyes out'''.

** We don't see the actual event on screen but Martok in ''Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine'' loses an eye while incarcerated and tortured by the Dominion. The socket is covered by a patch of gnarly scar tissue.

** The episode "[[Recap/TalesFromTheCryptS5E3ForeverAmbergris Forever Ambergris]]" features Ike catching a flesh-rotting virus, causing one of his eyes to ooze right out of its socket. His idol then puts out a cigarette out on it.

* ''Series/InterviewWithTheVampire2022'': In the Season 1 finale, Claudia spits out an eyeball and its accompanying socket while mauling a man.

** An abused boy telekinetically stabbing his stepmother to a wall through her eye. Yikes.
** An episode involving a demented, body-parts-stealing scientist includes a scene where one of the main characters nearly gets his eye scooped out with a melon-baller.
** The premiere episode of Season 4 had a psychic seeing the true face of an angel (Cas), and in turn had her eyes burned out, complete with blood streaking down her face, and her eye sockets being a black void of nothing.

** Bloody Mary liquefying people's eyes.
** The hot poker reflected in Dean's eye in "The Benders" followed by a little girl being ordered to keep her knife trained at his eye.

** The episode "Carrion Death" features a murderer getting his eyes pecked out by a vulture.
** The episode "What's Cookin'?" features The Crypt Keeper using a cork screw on the Chef's eye and pulls it out as punishment for being late with The Crypt Keeper's table at the intro to the story.
** The episode "Forever Ambergris" features Steve Buscemi catching a flesh-rotting virus, causing one of his eyes to ooze right out of its socket. His idol then puts out a cigarette out on it.
** The episode "The Assassin" has a man killed by a woman slamming a high heeled shoe in his eye.

** Several MythArc episodes had a bunch of alien mooks with their eyes sewn shut.

** Mentioned in "Eve" where the insane Eve 6 says she bit a guard's eyeball (complete with clacking teeth for emphasis). She says she ''meant'' it as a sign of affection.
** CreepyChild Michelle from "Born Again" was reincarnation of a murdered cop and she was channelling his desire for revenge. During therapy sessions, she kept disfiguring dolls in exactly the same way, always gauging out one eye and cutting one arm. This was how Charlie Morris's body had been mutilated to make it look like a signature execution.
** "Die Hand die Verletzt" features a human body with a heart and eyeballs cut out. Not coincidentally, Mrs Paddock's desk drawer contains a dissecting tray with a fresh and bloody human heart and two eyeballs.
** The episode "Hell's Money" featured an Asian gambling ring losers had to forfeit their own body parts for organ transplantation. We don't see the actual surgeries, but one of the men who was questioned had a fresh gauze-pad on his face, indicating that he'd just forfeited an eye.
** In "Unruhe", Gerry Schnauz was giving a transorbital lobotomy to troubled women, believing that it would help them. It used to be known as an icepick lobotomy and it involves inserting a leucotome through the eye sockets. Argh!
** The murderous doll in "Chinga" made people claw at their eyes in the teaser. Their faces near their eyes are horribly scratched and one poor guy didn't survive the attack: a knife ended up sticking out of his eye socket.
** "Theef" has a voodoo man who sticks two nails through a poppet's eyes. The doll represents Scully and it makes her eyes turn completely white. It effectively blinds her.
** In "Je Souhaite", Mulder discusses and tries to defy the trope. He was granted three wishes by a LiteralGenie. He carefully words his last wish in legalese so that the genie doesn't interpret it as free card to grow people's eyes on stalks.

* ''Series/TheWire'':
** In Season 1, the most conspicuous injury (and the injury to which the most attention is paid) that [[spoiler:Brandon]] receives when he undergoes torture at the hands of the Barksdale gang is that one of his eyes is gouged out, while the other is left not only intact, but open after death.
** Prezbelewski pistol-whips a teenage drug runner, blinding him in one eye.

* In ''Franchise/StarTrek'', while it's never quite as explicit in the various television series as it is in ''Film/StarTrekFirstContact'', there are often several reminders that [[TheAssimilator Borg assimilation]] usually leaves the victim missing an eyeball. In ''[[Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration I, Borg]]'', Hugh casually removes his cybernetic eyepiece and hands it to Doctor Crusher, exposing the circuitry where his eye ''should'' be--Crusher and La Forge appear appropriately disturbed.
** In "[[Series/StarTrekVoyager The Gift]]", the Doctor cheerfully shows Captain Janeway the artificial eye that will replace the one that Seven of Nine had plucked out by the Collective.
** {{Inverted|Trope}} in "The Best of Both Worlds": when Picard is abducted by the Borg and transformed into Locutus, he gets an implant ''next to'' his eye, but does not lose one during transformation, though it's also clear from ongoing upgrades we see during his time as a Borg that his assimilation was never completed. This is itself later de-inverted by ''Film/StarTrekFirstContact'', which has a very memorable opening scene depicting Picard's assimilation as Locutus and gives us the Eye Scream trope image...
* ''Series/StarTrekDiscovery'':
** In "The Red Angel", Control stabs Leland in the eyeball via a booby-trapped retinal scanner, before killing him and possessing his body.

** In "Stardust City Rag", [[spoiler:Icheb's]] ocular implant is forcibly ripped out without an anesthetic by a surgeon.
** In "Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 1", Saga is stabbed in the eye with her hummingbird brooch.
** In "Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 2", Jurati pulls out the dead Saga's other eye to help her get through a retinal scan.

** In the Season 1 episode "DNA Mad Scientist", the crew voluntarily gives samples from their eyes to an alien scientist called [=NamTar=]-- which involves a probing machine sticking a needle fully into the eye. Aeryn initially refuses, but when she later agrees to it, the alien gives her an eyeful of LegoGenetics, causing her eye to immediately turn purple for a few seconds. After a bit of BodyHorror, the antidote that will return Aeryn Sun's body to normal must be delivered to the eye. With no time to set up the machine, she is forced to put her trust in John's steady hand as he has to delicately stab her in the eye.

* In ''Series/TheSandman2022'', the Corinthian is a nightmare with a habit of gouging out people's eyes and feeding them to the little mouths he has in his eye sockets to get information from them. A small group of "[[SerialKiller collectors]]" copycat this signature to get his attention, bringing the eyeballs with them to their next gathering.

* ''Series/TheWalkingDead'':

* ''Series/{{Farscape}}'' has several disturbing moments with this trope:

** This trope popped up so much that even the writers themselves started joking about Farscape's "relentless eye pummeling".

** {{Inverted|Trope}} in "The Best of Both Worlds": when Picard is abducted by the Borg and transformed into Locutus, he gets an implant ''next to'' his eye, but does not lose one during transformation, though it's also clear from ongoing upgrades we see during his time as a Borg that his assimilation was never completed. This is itself later de-inverted by [[Film/StarTrekFirstContact Star Trek: First Contact]], which has a very memorable opening scene depicting Picard's assimilation as Locutus and gives us the Eye Scream trope image...

* In ''Series/TheLordOfTheRingsTheRingsOfPower'', Queen Miriel is permanently blinded by the sparks that fell into her eyes from a burning building, after Mount Doom's eruption. This just leaves her all the more determined to help Galadriel fight the coming darkness.

* Series/ThePeripheral2022: [[spoiler: When Flynne puts on the headset for the second time, Peripheral!Burton is sedated and StrappedToAnOperatingTable. Aelita, looking on, calmly informs her that [[FalseReassurance that she's not a sadist]]... But all the same, she will test the very limits of pain "Easy Ice" is willing to endure by cutting out one of the peripheral's eyes and replacing it with Mariel's [[SkipTheAnaesthetic while its operator is still conscious]]. And there's most pointedly ''no'' GoryDiscretionShot, either. Yeuch.]]

** In Season 1, Diamondback crashes a meeting of crimelords at Colon's Gym, and kills one of the bossesby throwing a knife into his eye.

** ''Series/HouseOfTheDragon'': After managing to ride Vhagar, the young Aemond Targaryen gets into a fight against Jacaerys, Lucerys, Baela and Rhaena. His attempt to kill Jacaerys with a stone ends up costing him an eye when the latter defends himself with a dagger, slashing Aemond's face. Aemond's mother Alicent is quick to demand for an eye of Jacaerys to be removed as "payment", a folly that her husband Viserys and stepdaughter Rhaenyra are quick to put to rest when she attempts it herself.

* ''Series/GameOfThrones'':
** The death of [[spoiler:Jory]] has him get a dagger in the eye courtesy of Jaime in a confrontation outside a brothel, followed by a close-up of his face as he takes a good few seconds to die. Adding insult to the injury, this happens an episode after he tells Jaime about that one battle where he ''almost'' got stabbed in an eye, to the point where you think that Jaime does this ''deliberately''.
** [[spoiler:Oberyn Martell]] has his eyes gouged out and is killed by the hand of Gregor "the Mountain" Clegane.
** Arya begins her execution of Meryn Trant by stabbing him in the eye, causing him to fall to the ground in pain. Then she stabs him in his other eye. And several times in the chest [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown for good measure]]. She's using a very short dagger for this which is both easier to conceal and also makes sure none of his injuries are immediately fatal until she slits his throat.
** Jaime is threatened with this when Locke takes offense to his EveryManHasHisPrice attitude.
** Beric Dondarrion wears an EyepatchOfPower because he was stabbed in the eye.
** During his BarBrawl in "Two Swords," the Hound slams one opponent onto his own knife multiple times, using CGI to make it a single shot.
** Ramsay kills Wun Wun with an arrow to the eye.
** This seems to be a favourite method of punishment of Cersei's — Tyrion recounts she had a servant girl beaten until she lost an eye when she was ''nine'', and in 'The Wars To Come', she threatens to have Maggy's eyes gouged out if Maggy wouldn't tell Cersei her future.
** By the time of the Season 7 finale ''Gregor's eyes have begun to rot''.
** At some point, Prince Aemond Targaryen lost his left eye and replaced it with a sapphire. Daemon stabbed him in his other eye.
** During their final fight, [[spoiler:Gregor attempts to gouge his brother Sandor's eyes. He destroys Sandor's left eye before Sandor is able to force him back by stabbing Gregor's left eye with a dagger. Despite the dagger going all the way through his head, it doesn't kill him because he's turned into an undead abomination.]]
