He also appeared as a boss in ''Eyes of Heaven'', which gave him a rematch against Jotaro in a game of poker, and expanded more on D'Arby's backstory as well as his recovery and thoughts since his VillainousBreakdown in their first game.

Speedwagon is absolutely ''adored'' in the fandom for being a total {{Keet}} who admires Jonathan and Erina to a fault, and the way he [[spoiler:respects Baron Zeppeli's death and [[PassingTheTorch carries out his mentorship legacy after adopting his hat]]]] made him all the more charming to fans. His portrayal in ''Manga/BattleTendency'' after forming the Speedwagon Foundation doesn't hurt, either.

** Rudol von Stroheim is one of the most popular secondary protagonists in the entire franchise for his [[LargeHam sheer hamminess]] and is often referred to as the most likeable Nazi character ever. He even got to be a playable character in ''Eyes of Heaven''.
** Wamuu is the most popular of the Pillar Men for being the AntiVillain of the trio and for the sense of honor he displays towards Joseph and Caesar, who he views as his {{Worthy Opponent}}s. He's one of the few secondary antagonists in the franchise that is more popular than the main villain of his part (Kars). There are fans who admit they can't bring themselves to hate him [[spoiler:despite killing [[TheRival Caesar]]]] due to how honorable and respectful he acts.
