''Fanfic/LeftBeyond'' has this as the central theme, with the understanding that Yahweh is very much a cosmic-horror being. Near the end, Kat deploys a biomechanical power suit whose specific job is to punch out Jesus at the Final Battle. She succeeds, in what is the story's only instance of CallingYourAttacks, but loses the battle anyway. Fortunately, that too was part of the plan.

* In the climax of ''FanFic/ActuallyImDead'', Lightning Dust manages to tackle and fly The Dark Force into the air before ''ramming it into the ground'' and slapping some magical restraints on it. This simple act summoned Fauna Luster's Fire of Friendship and obliterated the Windigos in one fell swoop, in the process managing to cause Entropy pain for the first time in her entire existence.

* In ''Fanfic/ChildOfTheStorm'', the FinalBattle of Book 1 involves several characters against Gravemoss, herald of Chthon, [[EldritchAbomination Elder God]] of Chaos and BlackMagic. Gravemoss is calling on more and more of Chthon's power, but nonetheless several people take him on -- [[ComicBook/MsMarvel Carol Danvers]] punches him through a wall using a [[ComicBook/GreenLantern Green Lantern ring]], [[Literature/TheDresdenFiles Harry Dresden]] cuts off Gravemoss's arm with a [[HolyHandGrenade soulfire]]-forged [[Franchise/StarWars lightsaber]], and ComicBook/DoctorStrange matches Gravemoss in a WizardDuel so effectively that Gravemoss is forced to allow Chthon to [[VillainOverride fully possess him]] to defeat Strange. And even then, [[spoiler: Jean-Paul uses the [[ComicBook/TheFlash Speed Force]] to [[RammingAlwaysWorks annihilate Gravemoss's body]] and Literature/HarryPotter channels the power of [[ComicBook/XMen The Phoenix]], [[CompositeCharacter also known as]] [[ComicBook/TheSandman Destruction of the Endless]], to finish Chthon off, banishing him back out of reality.]]
