* Tropers/{{PKSuper}}: His review of [[MonsterHunter Monster Hunter Tri,]] for several things. First is the fact the fact that he rails against the game for telling him to run from a monster that is very much out of his league, as you rightfully should, as the Lagiacrus is invulnerable to damage in that particular quest. Next he makes the game out nothing but fetch and kill x amount of monster y quests, whereas if he had bothered to put an earnest effort into playing the game he would have found out that yes, you ''do actually fight large monsters like the ones in the cinematic.'' Which brings one to wonder ''what the hell was he actually doing'' during the hours he supposedly put into the game? An average player would have gotten to the large monster quests within 2 hours ''max'', even if it was their first time playing. Even worse, he states that the reason for the frequent loading between areas are because of the [[DidNotDoTheResearch Wii's processor,]] despite the series appearing on not only the PS2 (where such loading existed as well), but the ''PSP'' and ''PC'' as well with such loading screens. And those are [[BeyondTheImpossible just the most glaring]] problems that his review has. But the absolute worst part of it is that after committing one CriticalResearchFailure after another despite ''having the source material itself,'' the viewer wouldn't know unless they looked it up themselves or had prior experience with the series.

* Tropers/{{Raxis}}: Yahtzee's Minecraft review was actually very good and managed to be funny without insulting the hell out of the game for once, except for the first part, where he chose to take yet ANOTHER dig at America for no particular reason. There wasn't even anything in the context of the game to bring it up!
** Tropers/{{MosquitoMan}}: Again in the very next review for ''A Shadow's Tale'', where he opened up mocking all the different regions that get games, but specifically [[PrecisionFStrike calling America out]] for the title difference, which in itself wasn't that bad, but when all the previous xenophobia is added, it really starts making him look like a jerk.

* Tropers/{{theLibrarian}}: His rant against ''StarWars'' fans in the beginning of his review for ''TheForceUnleashed'' II. While it's true that the franchise is apparently being milked for all it's worth, him saying that SW fans fail at life and won't admit that a lot of stuff in the franchise is crap is completely uncalled for. Just because Yahtzee thinks that ItsPopularNowItSucks doesn't mean that he can insult the fanbase. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
* Tropers/{{Tidalwave11}}: It really seems like Yahtzee was trying to force himself to hate {{Dead Space 2}} during its review.
* Tropers/{{RiL}}: The entirety of his blisteringly misogynistic [[TheSims Sims 3]] review, chiefly the part where he actually ''unironically'' uses that tired old chestnut of how girl gamers only play The Sims.

I gave a reason. \'\'One\'\' moment. People are droning on and on and on and on for no reason other than to be petty. The rules of DMOS are pretty clear. The Monster Hunter one is a terrific example - where is the \'moment\'? It\'s a generic I HATE THIS REVIEW rant.

General clean-up (really guys there is absolutely no need to waffle and drone on and on and on, dethroning MOMENT - singular), and removing the one about \'content\'. His issue was with the repetitive filler content, a seperate issue.

* Tropers/DragonQuestZ: His "throwing out the baby with the bathwater" comments about the {{Wii}} in regards to ''{{Madworld}}''. All that proves is that the developers haven't gotten used to making good Wii games, not that the system is magically making them bad. And no, just because further games don't satisfy him doesn't prove motion controls are bad. That's just putting his OpinionMyopia about it. But the ''Madworld'' video dug a hole of unnecessary, and worse unfunny[[hottip:* :In the sense that it's getting old and tired]], dickishness about {{Nintendo}} that he hasn't gotten out of, and is now just using Wii hate as filler now instead of honest, yet snarky, criticism.
** JustThatGuy: What bugs me about his ''MadWorld'' review is the SoylentGreen "The Wii is made of poo!" rant at the very beginning. So basically, he's saying that developers need to stop making games for the ''highest selling video game console of the current generation '''because he says so'''''. [[SmallNameBigEgo Holy shit.]]
* Tropers/{{Devour}}: Yahtzee declared in his ''Extra Punctuation'' article for ''MonsterHunter Tri'' that he only plays a game to review until [A] the story campaign ends (like how the latter half of Super Mario Galaxy 1 is something he declares as meant for unemployed psychotics and Koreans) or [B] he cannot stomach any more. Nowhere was this more blatant than in this game, but that's not the DMOS - the DMOS is the sheer overdose of CriticalResearchFailure and Nintendo hate involved.
** Tropers/AnsemPaul: I'm going to add to this rather than start a new entry. I would have been fine if he played for a few hours then declared DO NOT WANT, listing all that was wrong with the mechanics. Instead in the after review he claims to have played it for 10 hours, saying that the tutorial was 10 hours long. His comments quickly review that the tutorial is FORTY FIVE MINUTES LONG, and an hour and a half if you're very slow. I had hoped to know whether I'd want to buy the game or not, so I was rather disappointed to find out that he's absolutely useless as a reviewer. If he had played it properly and hated it, he could have probably made a funnier review where he actually bashes the game for what it does wrong.

** Tropers/{{Quarma}}: I'm going to add onto this because this review created such a great logical fallacy that even though I disagreed with him most of the time, I still liked his reviews until this moment. He claims that it's impossible to defeat anyone better than you, but also claims that you will lose to any spaz who button mashes. What happens if you buttonmash like a spaz when you fight someone better than you?

Ironically, considering the video wasn't about games or game-related issues but the negative responses to his opinion, the whole segment made Yahtzee come across as petty and insecure as the people he was insulting.
* Tropers/{{AverageJohn}}: The ''Super Mario Galaxy 2'' review was probably one of his worst. He basically attacked Mario fans for wanting a new Mario game, but he has been actively campaigning to see Half-Life 2: Episode 3, making him a bit of hypocrite, as it makes it seem like it's okay for stuff like he likes to get sequels, but not what other people like. The worse part is that he basically avoids talking about the game, basically refusing to go over any aspects of it whatsoever.

About halfway through he abandons talking about the game completely in order to filibuster about what the Final Fantasy series has become and devotes no time at all to any of the game's more redeeming features, thus making him sorely guilty of bias (which is ironic considering he jokes about this during the review itself...)
** MainMainJ: For me the worst part was that he ''had'' to know there was no way he was going to play that game to completion, and it's been proven time and again that he can review any game he wants including games that have yet to come out (Duke Nukem Forever), and games that aren't brand new (Spider-Man Web of Shadows and Shadow of the Colossus) and can outright skip high profile games he doesn't want to review (Halo, Starcraft 2). Yet he handed in a half-assed review of the game ANYWAY, just to piss off the fanboys.

** Tropers/{{PaulDouglas}}: For this Troper, the more specific DMOS was the sequence where he described seeing the PS3/Xbox 360 version of the game and went on to baldly imply that it was immeasurably superior in every way - not just in graphics, but in all aspects. This Troper had come into the review expecting to see someone deadpan snarking about the objectively mediocre-to-terrible game regardless of platform, and instead found Yahtzee trying to suggest those of us who played the game on Xbox 360 or PS3 were somehow blessed with a fantastic experience. And it's not even the fact he made this implication that dethrones him in my eyes, it's that he makes this assertion seemingly without actually playing the PS3/Xbox 360 version at all.

* Tropers/{{SickBritKid}}: For this troper, it was the beginning of his BlackOps review. After bitching about how "worthless" America was in his Splinter Cell: Conviction review, Yahtzee then used the first few minutes of his Call of Duty: Black Ops review to compare America to Twitards because of all of the jingoistic war games based on a hypothetical America-being-invaded-by-Russia scenario. He makes a statement, seemingly in jest, that America needs another major war due to the fact that these games exist, seemingly forgetting that if America were to go to war and suffer devastation then we'd all have a rather pleasant world economy collapse due to the fact that America's got one of the biggest hands in the pot. Also, he notes how America isn't really "prime real estate" and not worth conquering. [[FlatWhat What]]. You live in AUSTRALIA, Yahtzee. You know what Australia has? Awesome beaches and kangaroos. The rest is a MASSIVE DESERT with a bit of rainforest sprinkled in for flavor. You know what America has? Highly fertile farmlands and some awesome mountain ranges. Once again, Yahtzee, just because America doesn't embrace the latest form of Universal Healthcare does NOT invalidate its worth as a country!
** SG_Man_Forever: Seconded, but in a different way. Aside from the accusation that America is full of nothing but ignorant rednecks, that we are all war hungry idiots, and that our country apparently sucks so much it wouldn't be ''worth'' ruling, there's also the ''[[{{Understatement}} small]]'' detail he apparently forgot: America is at war with Afghanistan, and the majority of the population considers this to be a very bad thing, and wants the war to end as soon as humanly possible. War hungry, my ass.
* Tropers/{{Darkurai}}: The beginning of Yahtzee's iPod Games review really did it for me. He said that he was going to review SonicColors originally, and that it looked promising for starting off with gameplay and not story, but he stopped playing when it turned out to have story. SonicColors has the least story out of any Sonic game in years. Is any game with any story simply inferior? Because moments later he said he also didn't want to pass up a chance to play more Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

As a Star Wars fan, I'm insulted at this. I'm perfectly capable of accepting that some of the media that's come out lately is bad, as is a lot of the fanbase, and won't deny that it isn't to anyone. Just because Yahtzee thinks that ItsPopularNowItSucks doesn't mean that he can insult the fanbase. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
* Tropers/{{Tidalwave11}}: It really seems like Yahtzee was trying to force himself to hate {{Dead Space 2}} during its review, considering how he disliked the original, to the point of it being painful to watch. Though he goes on so much about minor stuff like vents and the large former population of children on the Titan Station, he never actually makes a single conclusion to what he thinks of the game. ''Not a single one''. He also criticises how only Nicole is the only one to pop up in Isaac's hallucinations and none of the other people he sees getting killed. Probably because he doesn't know those people personally, and that the marker's screwing with him by taking the form of her. [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking The jokes were also very bad.]]
* Tropers/{{Myrmidon}}: It's hard to get more nitpicky than yelling at AssassinsCreed2 and AssassinsCreedBrotherhood for having too much content.

this is a page for dethroning MOMENTS. The fact something hasn\'t been done yet is not a specific moment in anything he\'s done, and does not apply. Furthermore, while to Yahtzee for not taking action, you were also needlessly scathing to the other posts here.

* Tropers/{{RedItchies}}: His TV Tropes page for [[DethroningMoment/ZeroPunctuation Dethroning Moment Of Suck]]. So much so that people all over the internet have begun using it as an example of [[FanBoy Fan Boy]] rage at its' fullest. The true DMOS however is that he's yet to mention it in any of his reviews, or at least an article, despite the fact that it could be potential comedy/rage gold.

If you delete this again, I wont put it back up here. I understand that alot of entries of \"He panned it now he sucks\" would have been removed, but I still believe that my point is valid. According to the trope page for dethroning moment of suck says \"Do not remove an entry from the page (unless the event in question is blatantly untrue) nor create a Justifying Edit to defend a moment - it goes without saying Your Mileage May Vary. \" I also specified that it wasn\'t the existence of the page that was his dethroning monent, but his lack of a mention of it. As I said, I wont keep placing this post back every time it is deleted, but I believe that I have a valid point, and have not broken any rules.

No contesting entries. This is subjective, the entry is their opinion. Besides, a number of insubstantial \"he panned it now he sucks\" examples HAVE been removed.

Let me rephrase that: ...and complaining about something Yahtzee hasn\'t done that isn\'t worth wasting his time on.

Has nothing to do with episodes of his show, and the DMOS amounts to bashing the wiki and something Yahtzee isn\'t worth wasting his time on it.

To the people who keeps deleting this entry, we\'re each allowed one complaint, and I followed all of the rules listed at the top of the page. The entry was signed, it\'s my only entry, I didn\'t refer to his series a a whole, I didn\'t refute anyone\'s opinion, I didn\'t contest any particular entry and I explained why it was a dethroning moment. I wasn\'t even rude enough to edit anyone elses entry. It\'s perfectly understandable that I find a page dedicated solely to people saying that he\'s wrong, and his current lack of a mention of said page, to be his dethroning moment.

What, is it America's collective fault Australia's having weather issues? Very mature, Yahtzee.
