* In ''Anime/BloodPlus'' Saya impales a baby within the first minute of the series.

** A flashback in the Dressrosa arc has the extermination of the city of Flavence. Only a then-10-year-old [[spoiler: Trafalgar Law]] survived. Everyone else, including a nun who was supporting the child, the kids she was taking care of, and the child's parents and younger sister, were all wiped out by the World Government. Needless to say, [[spoiler:this fucked Law up pretty badly]].

** Not to mention that the Iwa jounin in ''Kakashi Gaiden'' have zero qualms with mutilating Kakashi, mentally torturing Rin, and almost murdering all three of them.

** It's never explicitly stated but since Itachi assassinated the ''entire'' Uchiha clan ([[SoleSurvivor bar Sasuke]]), he obviously killed all the infants and children as well.

** In the [[Anime/FullmetalAlchemist 2003 anime]] [[spoiler:Pride]] breaks the neck of his son [[spoiler:Selim]]. Averted in the manga as [[spoiler:Selim ''is'' Pride there, and survives to the end.]]

* ''Anime/YuriKumaArashi'': [[spoiler: Princess]] Lulu's brother didn't die from [[spoiler: being thrown off a cliff, being thrown off a cliff into quicksand occupied by a Dune worm, or being thrown into a volcano]]. Instead, [[spoiler: he died from a bee sting allergy.]]

* ''Anime/{{Zambot 3}}'': This series is notorious -among other reasons- because it playing straight the trope. AnyoneCanDie. It does not matter if you are a kid; it does not matter if you are a kid and a secondary character; it does not matter if you are a kid [[spoiler:and a MAIN character.]] Given this is a show produced by Creator/YoshiyukiTomino, it should not be shocking.

* In ''LightNovel/FateZero'' Caster brutally kills a young boy after giving him a cruel HopeSpot by making it look like he was letting him go from where his master, Uryuu, had kidnapped the child and intended to kill him. The actual death happens offscreen but what we [[SoundOnlyDeath hear]] is more than enough to convey how terrible it was.

* ''Manga/MurasakiiroNoQualia''. Not only is [[spoiler: Yukari's death]] ''the'' biggest event in the manga that starts off the story proper, there are implications that several of Hatou's parallel universe selves ended up dying at varying young ages. The youngest seems to currently be her parallel universe self that lives in a universe where magic is real and she died trying, and failing, to teleport through a brick wall...

* ''LightNovel/ShakuganNoShana'' got away with killing two children (one human and one Torch) in the first two episodes, perhaps because their deaths [[{{Retgone}} didn't leave behind any bodies]].

* None of the fifteen-and-under cast of ''Anime/YukiYunaIsAHero'' die, despite all the battles. [[spoiler:They ''[[FateWorseThanDeath cannot]]'' die. They only lose their senses until they can't take care of themselves anymore.]] Played straight in the prequel light novel ''LightNovel/WashioSumiIsAHero'' and its film adaptation, where an eleven year old MagicalGirl died.

** Hashirama and Tobirama lost their little brother after he was murdered by the Uchiha.
** It's shown that during the first ninja war the plight of {{Child Soldiers}} was even worse than it is currently. A scene shows a bunch of adult ninja ganging up on a child one.
