* DayInTheLimelight: Several:
** D.D. got hers in "D.D. on horror island" (and its SequelEpisode) and "D.D. in the middle ages".
** Luke's was "Weirdest episode ever" (where the MonsterOfTheWeek was a menacing flying donut; what else would you expect from a title like that?).
** After being stuck in the background for a while, Dexter finally got his day in the limelight in "House of a ghost", and also in [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin "Alien Club - a club with aliens."]]
** "The spider's web" focused mainly on Ellky and her BodyHorror transformation into a spider.
** Lisa and Ammy got their very own two-parter episode called "Vampires can't buy me love", and their own special episode "Lisa and Ammy VS the League of Extraordinary Villains".
** Zarry Mopper got two; "Zarry Mopper and the cookies of death" and "Zarry Mopper and the secret of the secret pot stash" (yeah, you heard me).
** The League of Extraordinary Villains fittingly starred in the 99th episode "Evil villainy for dummies".
** The episode "Failemont" was a brutal parody of ''Valemont'', MTV's failed craptastic attempt to cash in on the ''{{Twilight}}'' craze, and it starred MsFanservice Sally.
** "The laughable mermaid" had the only two Asians of the new cast, Zhao-Len and Yoko, as its main protagonists.

[[WMG:Lona Lynn]]
A [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majorette_%28dancer%29 majorette]] based primarily on my AuthorAppeal; while she does have a wonderful personality, she's mostly there to provide {{Fanservice}}... a fact she's not very happy about.

[[WMG:Bludweiser]]

* BlindingBangs: Over one eye, anyway.
* FailOSuckyName: Everybody tells him this, but he thinks it's cool.

[[WMG:Vicky Sharpe]]
Veronica's little sister (the youngest of 15 siblings; 13 of her other sisters and one brother. What'd you expect, their parents are immortal!) who moved into her old house. Though she may appear sweet and charming, she does have a naughty side. Which gets awkward sometimes, because she looks like she's 12, but is actually [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld 229 years old.]]

* CousinOliver
* CuteWitch
* {{Expy}}: Of the witches from SugarSugarRune.
* GratuitousFrench: ''Oui!''
* MayDecemberRomance: Inverted / parodied. She eventually falls in love with Bludweiser who also may like her, but there's two problems: A) She's 229, he's in his 20s. B) He looks like a regular young guy, she looks like an innocent 12-year old girl. [[HilarityEnsues Hilarity, you may ensue now.]]
* SweetTooth: Likes sweet so much, she got diabetes [[UpToEleven 32 times.]] Thanks to being a witch, anytime she got it, she would use her magic to get rid of it.
* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Hers is light purple.

[[WMG:Yoko Subarashii]]
Another {{Anime}} fan, and thus a friend of Thompson's (and also the president of their anime fan club). Unlike Thompson, however, she doesn't show off her anime loving tendencies, but she does have a geeky side. The two frequently have moments of ShipTease, but I think it's best I just leave it at that.

* AscendedExtra: In "Stone'd", while Marion and Zoë were dealing with a pair of living statues that were terrorizing the city, Thompson dealt with Yoko for the place of their anime fan club president (thanks to being the only Japanese girl in a room full of [[OccidentalOtaku Western otakus]], she won). This was supposed to be her one and only appearance, but I liked her so much I decided to make her a regular.
* AwesomeMcCoolName: Her last name means "awesome", at least that's what Google Translate says...
* CosplayOtakuGirl: Let me put it this way; when her big sister moved out of their parents' house to go to college, Yoko converted her ''entire'' room into a closet for all her cosplay outfits. Now the room looks like a neat but crowded clothes shop.
* GirlishPigtails
** MegaTwintails: Each one is as big as her head.
* MulticoloredHair: Dark brown with dark purple streaks.

[[WMG:Klara]]
Most goths that have appeared in this comic were dark and depressing. But not Klara. She's not so much as a PerkyGoth, but a [[GenkiGirl Genki]] [[PerkyGoth Goth]]. While she may be into all kinds of metal music and wears black and grey clothes, she's basically one of the most optimistic and hyperactive people in this series. She's wild and spontaneous, which is why she mostly gets paired up with fellow GenkiGirl Darla.

* AscendedExtra: First appeared in episode 117 "Are you there, Satan? It's me, Margaret"
* DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu: In "Monster high school high", it's implied she and the Witch God (who is a giant humanoid with a goat's head) had some sort of relationship in the past. In the end, the two are eating ice-cream while having casual conversation.
* FunTShirt: It has the logo of her favorite band, Wolfmother.
* GenkiGirl: The genkiest of them all.
* PerkyGoth: Perky being a ''major'' understatement.
* ShutUpKiss: Does this to Thompson as he's freaking out in "You mess with time, time messes with you!"
* WriteWhoYouKnow: Based on this girl from my former school, though that one wasn't nearly as perky as Klara.

[[WMG:Debra Deborah]]
The new anchorwoman and reporter for Metropolis Newz.

* AlliterativeName / TwoFirstNames
* KentBrockmanNews: Much like her predecessor Charmaine Ladis, she's not afraid to speak her mind during her broadcast.
* SassyBlackWoman

[[WMG:Dr. Marvin Zero]]
Introduced as the new BigBad in "From Zero to eternity", his goal is to continue where the League of Extraordinary Villains failed many times. Once he was paired up with another major villain, Erska Clarine, this goal was achieved: both constantly argue and behave like children, and can never get rid of the D.L.D., much like the League.

* [[BeardOfEvil Goatee of evil]]
* ForTheEvulz: He's evil because he simply is.
* MadScientist
* MeaningfulName: His name can be interpreted in two ways:
** It comes from a short novel called ''Black smile'', where Dr. Zero refers to a non-existant character who represents a new beginning, or starting over. The Dr. Zero in this series starts over as the new major recurring villain, and begins where the League of Extraordinary Villains ended.
** When it comes to destroying the new D.L.D., he really is a zero.
* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Dark blue, in fact.

[[WMG:Erska Clarine]]
A girl who can't stand society and is simply evil. From head to toe she's dressed in black (her shirt, hoodie jacket, pants, boots, hair, make-up, spiked collar... all black). She decides to join Dr. Zero and help him in his goal to destroy the new D.L.D. (or rather, to boss him around).

* AscendedExtra: Appeared alongside Klara (and two other unnamed goth girls) in "Are you there, Satan? It's me, Margaret"
* CompositeCharacter: Her looks are based on [[Literature/GirlWithTheDragonTattoo Lisbeth Salander]], her personality is based on [[MyImmortal Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way]] (she even demands she'd be called this way, because it's "the most goth name in the universe"), and her name... is based on some random art history writer.
* ForTheEvulz: When Klara asked her why she joined Dr. Zero in destroying the D.L.D., Erska simply replied: "I dunno, because I'm evil?"
* InSeriesNickname: Klara frequently calls her Panda, due to her chalk-white skin and ungodly amounts of eyeliner.
* TheSnarkKnight

[[WMG:The old zombie cast]]
The original cast (see second folder), dead in episode 120, revived in episode 121 thanks to a radioactive cloud from Japan (at the time the episode was written, there've been rumors of such clouds spreading from Japan's then nuclear disaster). Their goal is to get rid of the new cast (everybody in this folder listed above them), except for one minor detail; they're zombies and aren't very capable of battling the new characters. So, until they reach an adequate solution, they remain lurking in the dark, watching (and snarking at) their replacements.

* CastHerd
* OnceAnEpisode: One or more of them will make a cameo.
* OurZombiesAreDifferent: They can walk and talk normaly, but are visibly rotting.

When the compared to the old cast, these new ones are fairly LighterAndSofter; they don't argue or snark at each other, and even the main villain seems kind of sympathetic (until another villain shows up).

[[WMG:New D.L.D.]]
New members Thompson, Marion and Zoë strive to be just as good as their predecessors, without all the fighting and bickering. They changed the name to Destroy Ludicrous Demons, to keep the D.L.D. name intact (and besides, if they went by their initials like the old D.L.D., they'd be called T.M.Z., and who wants to share the same name as a celebrity gossip site?).

At first it only consisted of Marion and Thompson, with Zoë joining in later (she was introduced in the first new-cast episode "Dramatic entrance! Enter Zoë"; how Thompson and Marion met was revealed in the WholeEpisodeFlashback "When huffy met sultry", where they both tied in a competition held by the mayor to see who was going to be the new D.L.D.).

[[WMG:Marion]]
[[GenderBlenderName While his name is girly]], he certainly isn't. He likes sports (especially soccer), girls and beer, but at times has moments of "questionable manhood". Not very bright, but can be very useful.

* AscendedExtra: Appeared in the episode ""Big Bother", but now has a main character status.

[[WMG:Thompson Terry]]
A perky hardcore {{Anime}} fan who occasionally serves as the brains of the group. Not much else to say about him, except a common last name is his first name, and a common first name is his last name.

* AuthorAvatar: In the same way Luke is an exagerrated manifestation of all my flaws, Thompson is the exaggerated manifestation of my love for anime.
* {{Catchphrase}}: Using anime titles instead of regular exclamations. For instance, instead of saying "Oh my God!", he says "AhMyGoddess", and lines such as this:
-->'''Marion:'''Where've you been?
-->'''Thompson:'''Oh, you know, NowAndThenHereAndThere in ThisUglyYetBeautifulWorld [[TheWorldGodOnlyKnows God OnlyKnows]].

* OccidentalOtaku: So much he even once made a petition to build a [[FanserviceWithASmile Maid Cafe]] in the city; only 14 people signed.
* ProudToBeAGeek: Doesn't hide his love for anime.

[[WMG:Zoë]]
Ever since she was born, Zoë was special. She won many baby beauty pageants, learned to walk and talk when she was 8 months old, had all the highest grades in every school, was voted prom queen (even though she was a freshman), all the boys loved her... and is one of the nicest and most helpful people around. So naturally, she was instantly enrolled into the new D.L.D., where she serves as the new leader.

** GodModeSue: She can do anything. No really, I mean ''anything.''
** ParodySue: The fact that she can do literally anything gets on a lot of people's nerves.
* PantyFighter: Her fighting includes lots of high kicks and attacking from above. She wears a DangerouslyShortSkirt. You do the math.
* PrehensileHair / HelicopterHair: Her big ponytail does amazing things.

[[WMG:Martina Latina]]
Daughter of porn diva Platina Latina (who appeared in "D.D. dies"), Martina never really made a big deal out of her mother's job. She can be sassy, but most of the times is very nice and sweet. Except those few times (see below).

* SpicyLatina: Heck, it's even in her name (her mother, however, wasn't).
* {{Troll}}: Found a website that can tell the future, but can also kill people... told all her friends about it. Found a witch's tomb that can release the witch's ghost... told Vicky about it, but neglected the part about the releasing. This is why I refer to her as Trolltina.
* WhoWearsShortShorts: She does! With a hoodie and Ugg boots, but never mind.

[[WMG:Jasmine]]
At first she was calm and didn't show much emotions,... then everybody found out it's because she's a robot. Since FreakyIsCool, nobody minds this, and actually enjoy her robotic abilities. Her real name is [[LeetSpeak J45M1N3]], and her creator is a technology college student named Chapek Asimov (named after two famous sci-fi writers that have established the robot genre).

[[WMG:Metropolis Newz]]
The local TV news station. Hosted by David Fernsberry and reported by Charmaine Ladis, it appears whenever something related to D.L.D. happens.

* CouchGag: In-universe, their logo changes with every appearance.
* KentBrockmanNews: Charmaine Ladis isn't afraid to speak whatever is on her mind whenever she's reporting.
* XtremeKoolLetterz: Whish should say something about the station's quality.

[[WMG:The Author]]
The omnipresent creator of the comic. Anytime something illogical and/or unoriginal happens, the characters berate him; he usually responds by drawing a mustache on them.

* AuthorAvatar: A literal one.
* TheFaceless: We only see his hand with a pencil in it.

Added DiffLines:

[[WMG: D.L.D.]]
The titular trio; D.D., Luke and Dexter. When they're not arguing, fighting or insulting each other, they are solving supernatural mysteries. And even ''then'' they don't get along very well, but somehow manage to save the day.

[[WMG:D.D.]]
The self-proclaimed leader of the group. Started out pretty much the same as she was in DextersLaboratory, but as the series grew, so did she... into a perpetual bitch.

* ACupAngst:
-->Mirror, mirror, on the wall... when the Hell will my boobs grow?! I'm 18 and still look like a friggin' 8-year old!
* AlphaBitch: Varies between this and LovableAlphaBitch.
* BerserkButton: Do NOT have sex with the D.L.D.'s rivals. Luke and Dexter found this out the hard way.
* DeadpanSnarker: Oh yes.
* DumbBlonde: She has her moments.
* GirlishPigtails
* TeamMom: A very bad one.

[[WMG:Luke]]
Started out as the voice of reason of the group, but grew into an alcoholic slacker. He's the AuthorAvatar, in the sense that his personality is made of all my flaws, all exaggerated.

* AnythingThatMoves: Vampires, snake-demons, one of his rivals... he's not very picky when it comes to sex.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Comes across as nice and timid, but when he gets angry, no one's safe (literally).
* BottleFairy: If this were a drama he'd be TheAlcoholic... but since this is ''not'' a drama, he's this.
* ButtMonkey: More so in the earlier episodes.
* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: When you were created by an alien set to take over the Earth, you're bound to have this.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Attempted to kill the entire cast, including his friends and family. It worked... [[KillEmAll but in the way he anticipated.]]
* HumanAlien: Well, a clone with human and alien DNA.
* DeadpanSnarker
* TheMole: A secret he kept for 79 episodes... and just when everything seems to have been put in order, it tuns out he's still evil.
* NightmareFuelStationAttendant: When the gang was having a Who can tell the grossest TheAristocrats joke, he won since his contained {{Gorn}} and NauseaFuel... and wondered if it was too tame.
* TheSlacker: At first he was BrilliantButLazy, but soon became this.

[[WMG:Dexter]]
The brains of the group. Just like his DextersLaboratory self, he's a super genius... but in this comic, he gets the worst treatment. Even though he creates all the gadgets necessary to fight monsters and demons, he still gets neglected and mistreated. Naturally, this only gave him a very sour personality.

* ButtMonkey: The biggest of them all.
* DeadpanSnarker: Only to his brother and sister.
* GadgeteerGenius
* InsufferableGenius
* TeamMom: Much to his chagrin.
-->'''Dexter:''' Enough, both of you! Why do I always have to play the parent to you two?
-->'''D.D. and Luke:''' Shut up, mom!

[[WMG:Other]]
[[WMG:Lisa Hemingway and Ammy Littletown]]
D.L.D.'s two best friends, the former a tomboy, the latter a girly girl. When they're not hanging around with the D.L.D. they are usually seen with each other, inseparable, talking about boys, movies, books and such. It was eventually revealed Lisa has a crush on Ammy, but sadly, due to the events of episode 120, this never got resolved.

* DarkIsNotEvil: Lisa who wears nothing but black and white and listens to metal is actually very sweet and kind.
* TheFashionista: Ammy, who I like to refer to as a fashion freak.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Ammy always wears pink.
* {{Pride}}: Ammy is guilty of this.
* RomanticTwoGirlFriendship: Most likely because one of the girls in love with the other.
* ThoseTwoGirls
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl

[[WMG:League of Extraordinary Villains]]
A group consisting of four of D.L.D.'s former enemies; two mad scientists and two ghosts. The only thing they have in common is the mutual hatred of D.L.D. for one reason or another. In fact, their relationship is worse than the D.L.D.'s!
Together, they represent these tropes:

* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: It's amazing how they can't kill three teenagers, and yet are capable of defeating an entire army of some random LaResistance.
* LaughablyEvil: Very much so.
* TerribleTrio: Terrible quartet, to be exact. Neither can agree with each other and at times act like children.
* EnemyMine: The only reason they stand each other is because they all hate the D.L.D., for one reason or the other.

The group is made of:

[[WMG: Dr. Lucifer Apartheid]]
[[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld A 1000 year old]] alchemist who looks like a villain out of a 1920's movie and the leader of the group. Has a thing for giant robots.

* AdultChild
* MadScientist
* NonIndicativeName: Has nothing to do with Satan or racism. His name is just evil that way.

[[WMG:The Lady in Grey]]
An {{Expy}} of the famous villain from the Italian comic DylanDog, the Lady in Black. This Lady is ill-tempered and likes to boss around, much to Dr. Apartheid's chagrin.

* {{Butterface}}: Has the body of a slender young woman in a strapless cleavage-bearing dress with OperaGloves... and her head has no skin whatsoever, thus leaving a skull.

[[WMG:The Lady in Lightgreen]]
Used to be an apprentice of the Lady in Grey, until both of them died and haunted their castle, up until the D.L.D. showed up. This one is the OnlySaneMan of the group and likes to keep quiet when the others are fighting with each other.

* {{BFS}}: Carries it everywhere with her.
* RedheadInGreen
* CuteGhostGirl

[[WMG: Dr. Quas Quasimodo]]
The other MadScientist of the group. Hunchbacked and effervescent, this one also likes to keep quiet when Dr. Apartheid and the Lady in Grey are fighting, but is not afraid to step in.

* CompositeCharacter: Based on Quasimodo from TheHunchbackOfNotreDame and the Angry Scientist from SheepInTheBigCity (a milder version).

[[WMG:S.G.T.]]
The D.L.D.'s rivals; Sally Winthrope, Gina Dazzywazzy and Tina Monotonous. It was eventually revealed Sally thought of forming a three-man group that would fight monsters and stuff like that, and that D.D. stole the idea from her (which is how their rivalry started).

[[WMG:Sally Winthrope]]
Started out as a complete copy of D.D., then became a promiscuous tramp, and in episode 116 a freak accident I like to call a "deslutification" turned her into a geeky girl. The leader of the group, most likely because she's the most competent of the three.

*AnythingThatMoves: Back when she was a slut, she had sex with everybody. And I mean ''everybody''; monsters of the week, random strangers, Luke,...
* DumbBlonde: In her early appearances.
* {{Meganekko}}: As a nerd.
* MsFanservice / InnocentFanserviceGirl: She became the latter after she was turned into a geek; the fanservice coming from lots of ClothingDamage, much to her chagrin.
* TeamMom

[[WMG:Gina Dazzywazzy]]
The "ugly one". Well, not so much as ugly as unattractive, but the universe treats her as though she's the ugliest thing around. Tried to fix this by getting breast implants... it didn't work.

* BeyondTheImpossible: So ugly her picture appeared in an animal sticker album.
* GagBoobs: Got implants in order to look pretty. Problem is, it was ridiculously obvious they were fake, so eventually she got rid of them.
* HollywoodHomely: Sure she has a large nose and a grey BeehiveHairdo, but she's treated as though she's a leper.

[[WMG:Tina Monotonous]]
The resident FatGirl and StalkerWithACrush of Luke's. Whether she's crazy in love, or just plain crazy, it's up to debate.

* BigEater: You have no idea.
* ExtremeOmnivore: Ate a tree, an alien and a random chick that Luke got angry at for [[DontExplainTheJoke explaining a joke.]]
* FatGirl: Half her character. The other half being Luke's stalker.
* FunnyAfro: [[AnimeHair It's as big as she is.]]
* StalkerWithACrush
** StalkingIsFunnyIfItsFemaleAfterMale: She frequently breaks into Luke's room to videotape him while he sleeps or is in the bathroom, once stole his pubic hair (don't ask), everytime she talks to him she openly says she'd like to have sex with him... and all of it is PlayedForLaughs. Luke, of course, is less than pleased.
* {{Yandere}}: Can you guess who for?

An ongoing unpublished comic series made by yours truly. What started out as a series of simple DextersLaboratory fancomics when I was 9, turned into an actual series with loads of characters, crazy plots, and [[RapidFireComedy two oir three jokes a page.]]

In a nutshell, it's a {{Horror}} / {{Ecchi}} GagSeries.

In a more detailed explantion, the comic follows the adventures of three siblings; LovableAlphaBitch D.D., DeadpanSnarker Luke and InsufferableGenius Dexter. And yes, D.D. and Dexter are from DextersLaboratory (with their personalities exaggerated to absurd levels.), while Luke is an AuthorAvatar (one of two; I'll explain that letter).
Together, they form a group called [[FunWithAcronyms D.L.D.]], which solves varios supernatural cases, for just 60 dollars a client! The [[MonsterOfTheWeek monsters of the week]] range from vampires, werewolves and zombies to man-eating sofas, soul-sucking ice-cream, a giant robot with Adolf Hitler's brain (you heard me) and the such.

[[NothingIsTheSameAnymore However, after episode 120, everything changed;]] the entire cast of 30 characters died in a sequence that would put StudioGainax to shame, got replaced by a cast of 16 ''new'' characters... then the old cast came back as zombies with the intention to kill the new cast, if they weren't, you know, rotting and stuff.

Yep, it's ''[[WidgetSeries that]]'' kind of series.

[[WMG: This comic, with its 12 year run, has referenced many tropes, including, but not limited to...]]
