Prior to the fight, Greymon even calls himself Godzilla, before Gallantmon communicates with him and tells him to calm down. He's fought on a large CityNoir (the Animal Realm) instead of Final Destination, given that giant monsters can destroy buildings often.

* FinalBoss: Infinite is this in many routes, with a few exceptions:

Prior to the fight, [[spoiler:Greymon even calls himself Godzilla, before Gallantmon communicates with him and tells him to calm down]]. He's fought on a large CityNoir (the Animal Realm), referencing [[spoiler:giant monsters' habits of destroying buildings]]. Korone still has Infinite as a PreFinalBoss, however.
** [[VideoGame/{{Darkstalkers}} Felicia]] has [[spoiler:Ronald [=McDonald=]]]. Keeping with Felicia's route's CentralTheme of a MonsterMash, to mirror her home series, [[spoiler:Ronald represents {{Monster Clown}}s, even though he doesn't look ''that'' monstrous (but his AI certainly is)]]. He is fought on the [[VideoGame/EarthBound1994 Devil's Machine]] like Infinite usually is, which contains the [[NightmareFuel infamously nightmarish]] Giygas in the background, adding to the monster motif. [[spoiler:[[NightmareRetardant Unfortunately]], the Ronald [=McGiygas=] EasterEgg is in effect]]. Like Korone before her, Felicia has Infinite as a PreFinalBoss.
** Infinite himself has [[spoiler:Shadow the Hedgehog, who wants to deal even more damage than simply disbanding the Jackal Squad. After defeating every other boss in Challenge mode except Golden Ronald, alongside Master Hand from Classic Mode and three clones at once, Infinite gives him one final task before Death is proven to be the strongest of the team: he must fight himself in a MirrorBoss battle]]. Also, since Death is normally the last character to be unlocked, it can be safe to assume that [[spoiler:the [[MirrorBoss Death clone]]]] is the FinalBoss of the whole game.
