Sony Imagesoft existed until 1995, when Creator/{{Sony}} restructured its video game divisions due to the incoming release of the UsefulNotes/PlayStation, causing much of Sony Imagesoft to be merged with Creator/SonyInteractiveEntertainment America. The video game business subsequently became known as Sony Interactive Studios America, before being renamed Creator/NineEightNineStudios.
