Sony Imagesoft existed until 1995, when Creator/{{Sony}} restructured its video game divisions due to the incoming release of the UsefulNotes/PlayStation, causing much of Sony Imagesoft to be merged with Creator/SonyInteractiveEntertainment America. The video game business subsequently became known as Sony Interactive Studios America, before being renamed Creator/NineEightNineStudios.

Sony Imagesoft was an American video game publisher and division of Creator/{{Sony}}. It was founded in 1989 as CSG Imagesoft, until changing their name to Sony Imagesoft in 1991. The company primarily made licensed games and ports during its existence. The company started out making games for Creator/{{Nintendo}} consoles alone, until a later partnership with Creator/{{Sega}} caused it to make many games exclusive to Creator/{{Sega}} consoles.
