Though many new cartoon fans don't remember hearing her voice, there was a period of time when her voice appeared in almost everything. She replaced Creator/MegRyan as the voice of Dr. Blight during the later seasons of ''WesternAnimation/{{Captain Planet|and the Planeteers}}'', and appeared in a number of the early 1990s Marvel cartoon adaptations, including ''WesternAnimation/IronManTheAnimatedSeries'', ''WesternAnimation/FantasticFourTheAnimatedSeries'' and ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManTheAnimatedSeries'', the latter as ComicBook/GwenStacy. She voiced Ariel's sister Arista in ''WesternAnimation/TheLittleMermaid'' [[WesternAnimation/TheLittleMermaid1992 animated series]], and was Disney's official voice of Snow White throughout the 1990s. She also played some of the iconic redheads of animation, including Barbara Gordon in ''[[WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries Batman]]: [[WesternAnimation/BatmanAndMisterFreezeSubZero Sub-Zero]]'' and Daphne in the first three 1990s ''Scooby Doo'' films, ''[[WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooOnZombieIsland Zombie Island]]'', ''[[WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooAndTheWitchsGhost Witch's Ghost]]'' and ''[[WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooAndTheAlienInvaders Alien Invaders]]''. She was also good friends with Creator/RobinWilliams, with whom she co-starred in ''Film/WhatDreamsMayCome''. She turned down an offer to perform the Oscar-nominated "Blame Canada" at the ceremony[[note]]She was invited to perform it (and wanted to as SelfDeprecation, since she's mentioned in the song as one of the horrible things about the country), but ended up having to decline on account of pre-existing commitments.[[/note]] so Williams offered to do so after her death to honor her.
