Kathryn Felicia Day (born June 28, 1979) is an American actress, gamer, independent filmmaker, and [[OneOfUs total nerd]]. Her best known television role was the Potential Slayer Vi on the final season of ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer''; she appeared as Penny in ''WebVideo/DoctorHorriblesSingAlongBlog'' and starred as Cyd "Codex" Sherman in the popular web series ''WebVideo/TheGuild'' (which she also created and wrote), and has been a recurring guest star in recent seasons of ''{{Series/Supernatural}}''. In addition to being an actress and writer, she's also extremely smart; she was a National Merit scholar, began college at 16, and double-majored in mathematics and music at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in the top 4% of her class. In 2012, she co-founded Creator/GeekAndSundry, which produces and publishes a wide variety of geeky web-videos. On August 11, 2015, she released her memoir, "You're Never Weird on The Internet (Almost)". Much to Felicia's surprise, the book has been a notable success, reaching #4 on the U.K. bestsellers list, and #3 on the prestigious New York Times bestseller list.
