** In canon, a huge billboard with Bolt's picture on it (advertising his TV show) is seen in New York -- though the dog doesn't actually notice it himself. "The Imaginary Letters" has Bolt correctly guess that there likely was a large billboard in Times Square with his likeness on it.
--->'''Bolt:''' We even got a chance to go to the Statue of Liberty (fascinating, especially coupled with Ellis Island) and Times Square (talk about tacky! I'll bet they even had a big lighted billboard with my picture on it way back when to advertise the show).

* The VideoGame/KanColle / Franchise/{{Halo}} crossover ''FanFic/ForEarthAndHerColonies'' has several continuity nods on both sides of the crossover:
** On the Kantai Collection side, Nagato references the [[Anime/KanColle Kantai Collection Anime]] in terms of the attack on Midway Island (here justified as a diversion for the Americans to retake the Hawaiian Islands) and the sinking of Kisaragi. She also notes that those series of offensives have left Japan’s shipgirls exhausted and in need of rest, which is one of the reasons why she is initially suspicious of Harvest’s arrival.
** On the Halo side, VideoGame/HaloWars is referenced ''frequently'', including the history of Harvest’s captain (evacuated off of Arcadia, the fourth mission of that game’s campaign), and that the father of Harvest’s executive officer was a crew member aboard the ''Spirit of Fire''.
** [[spoiler: UNSC ''Repensum Est Canicula'']] collected “recruits” for both the Spartan II and III programs.

* ''Fanfic/ItsAlwaysSpookyMonth'': In chapter 2, Skid and Pump talk about riding in a white van, "dying", and delivering a package of sugar, referencing the events of "Unwanted Guest".
* ''Fanfic/KhaosOmega'' invokes a lot of this.

*** Anise's XF Series model of Power Suit, which she acquired before the 2012 [=ZK3=] op to [[VideoGame/MetroidPrime2Echoes Aether]]. A returning Cloud Strife (who Anise first met in her first World of Light op) not only recognized it was Anise because of both the Suit itself and her use of an Angel Missile, but specifically made sure his own XF Series model had a different elemental affinity noting Anise had Ice covered.
*** Multiple decisions made during the Midgar op (one of them presumably the above elemental affinity choice by Cloud) are attributed to having partially scrambled Meme Storm plans Anise had for Lucina when she forcibly blew the blunette's cover during the assassination attempt (which Anise had brought along a platoon of Amethysts to deal with). Her plan with Lucina was to reveal Robin as Lucina's mother so as to keep Robin out of the Amethysts entirely citing multiple shenanigans from Amethyst agent Robin Karasuma she ran into on prior missions, and the Rule34 image she went for was inspired by Istara Drake (another GD Antheum survivor) subjecting her to the torture depicted in said image. [[spoiler:Her spell ended up working as intended, but Robin still made it in as a pseudo because the list of Midgar decisions gave Lissa a true Amethyst energy. * ''Fanfic/CodePrime'': The fanfic is a crossover with the ''Transformers Aligned'' '''Continuity''', and it certainly lives up to it:
** The opening is clearly based on the final (and by extension, first) mission of ''VideoGame/TransformersFallOfCybertron''.
** [[WesternAnimation/TransformersRobotsInDisguise Fixit]] is a member of the Ark Crew.
** Megatron has already been fused with Dark Energon in this timeline, which was the case in ''Fall of Cybertron'', as opposed to only just having discovered it at the start of ''Transformers Prime''. The first chapter also directly has him reference being crushed by Metroplex.
** In addition to Laserbeak, Soundwave also has Rumble and Frenzy, who were in ''[[VideoGame/TransformersWarForCybertron War for Cybertron]]'', and Ravage, from ''Literature/TransformersExodus''. These are notably the only members of his mini-cassettes that Soundwave has in the Aligned Universe, with others, like Ratbat and Buzzsaw, being unheard of.
** In ''R2'', Thundercracker thinks about Starscream's failed stint as Decepticon leader back on Cybertron, from ''Fall of Cybertron''.
** ''Code Geass'' has several nods as well. From the ''R2'' chapter ''The Fires of Rage'', Lelouch recalls Marrybell being among those who were present to see off Lelouch and Nunnally when they were exiled to Japan, a moment from the recap movies.

* ''Fanfic/TheManyDatesOfDannyFenton'': During a battle in Chapter 12 of "Danny and Kitty", Manny's head gets hurt so much he wonders if he ended "up in the afterlife again". That's a nod to ''WesternAnimation/ElTigreTheAdventuresOfMannyRivera'' episode "The Grave Escape".

to:

* ''Fanfic/CadetScrap'' features the full sparring scene from ''[[ComicBook/BatwomanRebirth Batwoman: Rebirth]]'' #1 that the story expands on, and also mentions the problematic plebes from Company E-2 that Kate mentioned in ''Batwoman: Elegy''. It also thoroughly references its prequel, ''Fanfic/WellMatched''.

[[AC:''Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse'']]
* In ''Fanfic/SixesAndSevens'', one of the papers Michael has access to during his sequester is ''The Daily Bugle''.

* ''Fanfic/ADiplomaticVisit'': In chapter 25, Discord's letter makes reference to his also being fond of "a certain chaotic little trio", referencing the time he spent with the Cutie Mark Crusaders in ''ComicBook/MyLittlePonyFriendsForever'' issue #2.

* ''Fanfic/SoulEaterTroubledSouls'': There are plenty of references to the canon series and the fanfic’s prequel sprinkled throughout the story, mostly dropped in the narration or in conversations. Most notably, in Chapter 1, there is a mention that evil activity was low a little more than two decades ago. ''Soul Eater Zeta'' is set 23 years ago, and it’s been said there activity of Kishin Eggs is low. Chapter 2’s classroom lecture is just a giant one that establishes continuity with respect to the Baba Yaga Castle invasion and its aftermath.

--->'''Thrass:''' Anyway, think of it as something to do when Jazz Velasquez kicks you out on Friday nights.\\
'''Eleya:''' How do you--\\
'''Thrass:''' I’m your professor. I know everything.
