* SelfProclaimedLiar: Loki at one point tries to use this, telling Heimdall that Freya is nothing but a flirtatious liar, proudly proclaiming that he ''defintely'' knows when someone lies, because he is himself the God of Deceit after all. Heimdall manages to point out the simply problem in trusting Loki's assessment: "But Loki... How can you know about honesty then?" Loki, responds by staring dumbfounded at Heimdall for a moment, clearly unable to come up with a rebuttal, then quickly slinks off, grumbling that Heimdall just doesn't doesn't understand all the while.

* ParalyzingFearOfSexuality: In ''Freya's Necklace'', Heimdall turns out to be have strong preconceptions of "pure" and "romantic" love. When he attempts to steal Freya's necklace at Loki and Odin's behest, he sneaks into her bedchambers, but awakens her. As he attempts to make up an execuse for being there, Freya points out to him that no one can enter her bedchambers if she doesn't want them to be herself, and Heimdall is immediately smitten and flattered, asking Freya if this means she wants to "go out in the moon light and hold hands". Freya instead suggestively points out that its cold outside, and that love is better expierenced in her warm bed. At this, Heimdall balks and turns pale in the face. He immediately flees the scene and afterwards breaks down crying in front of Loki and describes the expierence as "horrible! Terrifying!" [[spoiler:It is eventually subverted by the end of the story. Heimdall, realizing that he managed to deeply hurt Freya with his reaction, returns to her and sincerely apologizes and tells her that he still really likes her. Freya doesn't say a word, but just silently watches him with a warm and patient smile on her face, until it finally dawns on Heimdall that he has entered her bedchampers once again. Freya just keeps smiling and opens her arms in a gesture of embrace, and this time Heimdall gives her a doofy smile in return, suggesting that he accepts her offer of physical love this time.]]

* DirtyOldMan: Odin has definite shades of this. In several instances, he openly lusts after Freya and doesn't try particularily hard to hide it, despite being married. In ''Through Fire and Water'', Odin gets distracted when he looks on one of Geirrod's jötunn daughters from above and gets a nice visual of her cleavage, completely ignoring her otherwise feral looks.

* EthicalSlut: Freya swings between being this and an InnocentFanserviceGirl, often within the same story. She is quite open about her sexuality and often hits on the male gods, but in the end she is more concerned about love than sex. The prospect of being forced into a loveless marriage disgusts her, and it's also notable that she never hits on any of the ''married'' men.
