* BewareTheNiceOnes: In the third issue, the Squad gets sent to Parthas to bring back Dreamer. They arrive to find that she's already knocked out a whole lot of people, which is disturbing enough, but ''then'' they realize that she can enter the heads of all those conked-out people using her powers, which effectively means she can teleport all over the place and they can't get a bead on her.

* KnightInSourArmor: Deadeye is bitter and cynical, but he's still trying to mitigate the damage done by his notorious aunt.

* FlyingBrick: Bizarro, being a ComicBook/{{Superman}} clone, has super-strength and flight as part of his powers, which creates problems in the first issue when he flies off during the mission, rankled by the implication that his being on the ComicBook/SuicideSquad means that he's not a real hero.

* UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans: Waller justifies all the things she's doing by arguing that somewhere down the road, her actions will actually create a better world.
