''Neverwinter Tales'' is a five part comic book series that is part of ''Literature/TheLegendOfDrizzt'' series of books by R.A. Salvatore written in the ''TabletopGame/ForgottenRealms''. It is a ''ComicBook/DungeonsAndDragons'' comic book set in the region of Neverwinter during the ''Literature/TheNeverwinterSaga''. It is also set during the period of ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragonsFourthEdition'' before the Sundering.

Drizzt Do'Urden and his companion Dahlia Sin'felle are serving as mercenaries in the aftermath of the eruption that destroyed Neverwinter. After a group of goblins they were hunting end up dead, they soon discover signs that they might be dealing with something much worse in a vampire. Meanwhile, Thibbledorf Pwent discovers that he has been transformed into one of the undead and is haunted by his inhuman (dwarven?) hunger.

----
This comic contains the following tropes:

* AllThereInTheManual: Readers should definitely have picked up ''The Neverwinter Saga'' to know what is going on.
* AssholeVictim: Pwent doesn't consider killing goblins for their blood to be something that warrants much concern.
* AndThenJohnWasAZombie: Pwent becoming a vampire and dealing with the consequences is essentially the basis of the comic.
* BackFromTheDead: Pwent returns from death as one of the undead. Unfortunately, he very much views this as CameBackWrong.
* TheCorruptor: Korvin Dor'crae attempts to get Pwent to indiscriminately feed on humans rather than attempting to avoid killing innocents.
* DeathSeeker: Pwent would like to destroy himself to rejoin his king but vampire instincts to self-preservation are strong and he's thwarted several times.
* FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire: Pwent attempts to become this by only feeding on goblins.
* HorrorHunger: The Hunger is something that Pwent, despite his superhuman dwarven constitution and self-control struggles with.
* HotterAndSexier: Valindra Shadowmantle is quite a bit fleshier than most liches and drawn to be attractive despite, well, liches being animate corpses.
* IHateYouVampireDad: Pwent has this attitude toward the vampire who created him in Korvin Dor'crae.
* TheManBehindTheMan: Valindra Shadowmantle is the master of Korbin Dor'crae.
* MoralDissonance: Seeing Drizzt Do'Urden hunting down goblins for coin feels this way after his attempts to build peace with the orcs of Many Arrows.
* UncertainDoom: Whether Pwent destroyed Korvin Dor'crae or not at the end is uncertain.
* WhatMeasureIsANonhuman: Despite the protagonist being a drow and a vampire respectively, the comic considers the slaughter of indiscriminate slaughter of goblins to be fine.
