Grayson is a monthly ComicBook series published by Creator/DCComics, started in July of 2014, written by Creator/TimSeeley and Creator/TomKing, with art primarily by Mikel Janin. Following the events of ComicBook/ForeverEvil2013, Dick Grayson is presumed dead by most of the world, and ComicBook/Batman takes this as an opportunity to have Dick infiltrate Spyral, an espionage organisation intent on discovering the identities of the world's superheroes. Along for the ride is Helena Bertinelli, who was declared dead in Worlds' Finest, but is instead revealed to be an agent of Spyral.

In March 2016, it was revealed that, as part of the ComicBook/DCRebirth initiative, Grayson will be spun back off into ComicBook/Nightwing, with Dick returning to his former role, and Tim Seeley will stay as writer. Helena, however, is part of the ComicBook/BatgirlAndTheBirdsOfPrey series.

On second thought (and after seeing other examples on the trope's page), this can probably stay. Still needs context, though.

For example, the terrorist organization Leviathan was created by in Morrison's story, but founded by here. Though the contradictions would suggest that the two works are set in different continuities, a major event from Morrison's Batman (the death of ) is referenced in Graysons pages, establishing that both stories are somehow part of the same canon.

His true appearance is never shown, as his facial features are distorted into the shape of a spiral, lampshading both the name of the organization he leads and his obsession with keeping secrets.
