** Almost all members of the Terran Royal Family are powerful warriors and beloved heroes in their own right. Emperor Golden Scepter is the progenitor of modern Ponykind and an unparalleled scientific/psychic prodigy. His children, the Aureusidae, are generally either full-fledged deities or demi-deities, with even the mortal members getting their own badass moments. The Terran Princes are the most famous, being accomplished demigods and leaders of their own military chapters. Queen Majesty, Golden Scepter's biological descendant and adoptive daughter, was the most powerful mortal mage to have ever lived with countless feats under her name, including the destruction of the [[GodOfEvil Malignant Powers]] and the total rewrite of the (then-) corrupted fabric of Equusian reality. A [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/861846716/4889704561 Codexverse drabble]] reveals that Golden Scepter is a son of Profectus Equus/Iridium Signet, one of the surviving Thirteen Empyreans and one of ''the'' first Alicorns created/fostered by King Equus himself, making him a (great-)grandfather of the entire Terran Royal Family.

** Unlike what happened to Peter in ''Anime/MaryAndTheWitchsFlower'', Crystal Prism reacts to being kidnapped, experimented on, and turned into a monster as well as one would realistically expect -- he becomes withdrawn and melancholic, and he has nightmares about [[ForWantOfANail actually dying instead of being revived by the magic he devoured]]. He would also develop a hatred towards Noble Grace and Bubbling Beaker (both [[{{Expy}} expies]] of Madam Mumblechook and Dr. Dee), to the point of having "terrifying" rages whenever he encounters similar people. Fortunately, he's getting better through divine psychiatric help and the support of his friends and family.

* AlternateHistory: As the Codexverse chronicles the history of ''Ponykind'' and other races of Tellus/Equus, not Humankind of Earth, where historical periods and settings are similar there are also plenty of divergences as a result of [[ForWantOfANail slight deviations of events]] and many things and individuals [[NeverWasThisUniverse which exists in the Codexverse and not in RL]].

** As children of Obitus Equus, the oldest Equine Death god in existence, the Three Deaths are a SiblingTeam who command similarly great power. Their children, collectively known as the Trimortidae, take after their biological/adoptive parents, and this includes to any adoptive/biological siblings outside the group. While the Trimortidae has characters from both the ''My Little Pony'' franchise and non-MLP media, it also includes members that are based on real-life historical figures and celebrities, such as Double Helix (Music/JimiHendrix), Sir Curtain Call (Creator/AlanRickman), and Bronze Gear (Creator/JimmyDean).

** The Heartstrings twins, Blue Suede and Bossa Nova, are simply LivingLegends. Blue Suede is a musical prodigy, a deadly sniper called "[[RedBaron The Blue Death]]", and one of the most powerful musical mages on the planet. He's also a BadassTeacher who helped countlessstudents, musicians or no, Ascend to godhood. Bossa Nova, while not as skilled in music like his younger brother, is a MagicKnight par excellence and it's not ed he's extremely talented in combat, far beyond what the Three Deaths taught him. Then they [[spoiler:reincarnate as Mana Equus during the "Dark Ages Crisis" and]] become Kings of the Corporatum Pantheon, increasing their power. Their badassery extends to Blue Suede and Bossa Nova's biological/adoptive children, with the Caerulidae being a prime example of this.

** As the living embodiment of Ponykind, Emperor Golden Scepter is essentially this trope since he embodies both Ponykind's good and bad traits. Given how Equus works, this is considered a good thing, as his domain makes him more "human" than a large majority of the Codexverse's gods. It's also because he embodies Ponykind's dual morality that Belyolen and Temnobog respected and even befriended him, as in their eyes, [[ForWantOfANail he represents the god and ruler they could have been had their father, Irminsul, not tried to erase the flaws of his then-unborn son]]. This ends up being discussed between him and his son Written Word, who has a hard time understanding/accepting the idea allowing Evil to exist.

* BadassFamily:
** Almost all members of the Terran royal family are powerful warriors and beloved heroes in their own right. Emperor Golden Scepter and his adoptive/biological children (including his sons, the Terran Princes/Aureusidae) are almost either full-blooded deities or demi-deities; Queen Majesty is the only exception [[spoiler:due to having defects that left her completely mortal despite being one of Golden Scepter's descendants]], but she is regarded as the most powerful mortal mage to have ever lived with a lot of impressive feats under her name, including the destruction of the Imperium of Ponykind.. The badassery also extends to any grandchildren, relatives, and in-laws, who are often more powerful than they were compared to canon or their source inspirations. Then a Codexverse drabble reveals that Golden Scepter is a son of Profectus Equus/Iridium Signet, one of the surviving Thirteen Empyreans and one of ''the'' first Alicorns created/fostered by King Equus himself, making him a (great-)grandfather of the entire Terran Royal Family.
** There's also the Gypsy-Sparkle family. Twilight Sparkle is [[TheArchmage a magical prodigy]] whose talent and heroic deeds led to her becoming an [[PhysicalGod Alicorn]] and the ruling Princess of Equestria [[spoiler:as well as the {{Reincarnation}} of [[TheOldGods Mana Equus]]]]. Her older brother, Shining Armor, is a Prince-Regent who once commanded Equestria's Royal Guard, is a powerful shield mage, and a competent soldier and leader in general. Then there's their parents, Duchess Twilight Velvet and Duke Gypsy Night Light - the former is an expert swordsmare who specializes in "Armament magic", while the latter is both a powerful {{Seer|s}} and sorcerer. The badassery even goes back to the Fourth Age, with Twilight of Paradise Estate being a maternal ancestor through Velvet and Gypsy Wheel, the court Seeress of [[WorldsStrongestMan Queen Majesty]] herself, being a paternal ancestor through Night Light.
** All members of the Trimortidae are Death deities and demi-deities who are capable of wielding incredible power and kicking ass, and this extends to their non-Ascended adoptive/biological siblings. Some members have biological siblings who are also badass deities - for example, Bossa Nova Heartstrings, the Alicorn god of Death, Music, and Joy, is the older identical twin brother of Blue Suede Heartstrings, who is the Alicorn god of Music, Humility, Performance, and Love as well as a "[[TheAce prodigy deity]]".
** All members of the Amaredae, including the SemiDivine ones, are Love deities who are capable of wielding incredible power and kicking ass, largely thanks to their loving and benevolent upbringing by Amareros, the Grand Primeval of Love. And because they're so [[MassiveNumberedSiblings numerous]], they can be found in any pantheon. Members include Amour-De-Soi, Amina, Canteros (who is the oldest of the Amaredae), and [[spoiler:Princess Cadence]].
** The Caerulidae is named because all of its members are surviving children are Blue Suede Heartstrings/King Caerulus Melodia Equestria-Corporatum, whether through adoption or biological ties. They're also powerful and ancient deities like their father, with Prince Crystal Clear, Blue Suede/Caerulus' oldest son, being the oldest of them in general. Prince Perfect Tone is the Caerulidae's latest addition and therefore the youngest of them, due to being a baby.
** The immediate family of Moon Ray Vaughoof/Prince Canticum Lunae Cahaya, though much smaller than the Caerulidae, consists of badass members as well. Moon Ray/Canticum is a Death god-turned-EldritchAbomination with massive raw power and ''three'' different portfolios determined by the cycles he goes through. His beloved wife, Velvet Heart, is an Angel, and so is his older brother, Sunny Field Vaughoof. Two of Moon Ray/Canticum's adoptive children, Dissonant Tune and Voľná Láska, are also prodigy deities, while Ruya Clearfeather, the only mortal child in the family, is an experienced ex-con with skills in parkour and street-fighting.

** [[Music/StevieRayVaughan Moon Ray Vaughoof]] is an incredibly talented guitarist and singer (though he admits his songwriting tended to be hit-or-miss) who singlehandedly revived the then-stagnant Blues genre in the Second Age, and possesses tremendous psychic/magical potential. He is also one of ''the'' most powerful psychics and {{Seers}} of his generation, and he became even stronger following his [[EldritchTransformation re-Ascension]]. However, it's [[BrokenAce deconstructed]] as he was plagued by various problems throughout his existence that ended up stunting his growth as a person and a deity, with his domain of Prophecy being unwittingly repressed for three Ages. Then it's reconstructed as thanks to his friends and family, as well as receiving psychiatric treatment, he gradually overcomes all of said problems and learns how to be merciful and forgiving, [[KarmicJackpot which always ends up rewarding him in strange and fantastic ways]].

** Blue Suede Heartstrings (now King Caerulus Melodia Equestria-Corporatum) is considered by far one of the most powerful musical spellcasters in the world, and for good reason. He was already powerful as a god of Music due to his prior experience as a mortal musician, but it's not until he overcomes his traumas and flaws [[spoiler:and re-Ascends as a {{Reincarnation}} "aspect" of Mana Equus]] that his power [[TookALevelInBadass skyrockets]]. As a god of Musical Magic, he has all the supportive/passive spells associated with [[MagicMusic Musical Ponies]], but as a former Unicorn, he puts his own spin on the domain by using music to cast Unicorn-affiliated spells, and learns how to call down cosmic phenomena like [[ThePowerOfTheSun solar flares]] and [[MeteorSummoningAttack meteor showers]] from the Church of the Stars. He can also perform Malrègnarian Dark Magic, a far stronger version of ordinary Dark Magic, thanks to the Malrègnarian Royal Family's tutelage and being granted access to the "[[TomeOfEldritchLore Seven Keys of Iniquitous]]", but generally reserves these spells for situations that genuinely warrant it. He is so powerful that even Princess Twilight/Amicitia, herself a famous magical prodigy, admits that he far outclasses her in terms of music.
