!!Unresolved Cliffhangers:
* ''ComicBook/StarWarsInvasion'': The comic was CutShort midway through its story, and as as such the last issue ends with a number of plot threads -- such as precisely what's going on with the Galfridian siblings, Finn's reaction to [[spoiler:his stepmother being a Vong]], Kaye and Nina's damaged relationship, and the Vong's secret weapon -- left open and dangling.

* ''ComicBook/SpirouAndFantasio'': ''Kodo le Tyran'' (Kodo the Tyrant) and ''La Frousse aux trousses'' (Running Scared) both end in cliffhangers. In the first, a group of rebels is going to blow up a bridge Fantasio is headed to, thinking he's the titular dictator's top henchman, and Spirou realises they got the wrong man too late. In the second, the two heroes are caught by a furious river and sunk down a whirl. The follow-ups, ''Des haricots partout'' (Beans Everywhere) and ''La Vallee des Banis'' (Valley of the Exiles), respectively, start right afterwards, with the heroes surviving both events.

* ''ComicBook/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicIDW'': The first part of "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicIDWIssue61To62 Convocation of the Creatures]]" ends with the discovery that the ponies bought a section of land -- including where Canterlot was built -- from the griffons during ancient times. According to the treaty, the land would be returned to the griffons unless the ponies paid a large sum of gold one hundred years later. However, upon further search of the archives, no record exists of the rulers of Equestria ever paying that gold. Twilight worryingly realizes that a large section of Equestria, including all of Canterlot, legally belongs to the griffons.
