* LoopholeAbuse: Prior to a ruling judgement that banned the loophole, the card-protecting effect of Number 66: Master Key Beetle (and others) was used to protect one of the Pendulum Igknights when using their Pendulum effects, letting the player search out another Igkight while only destroying one Pendulum Zone Igknight, setting up a loop of searching and Extra Deck setup that can then be unleashed all at once. The clarified rulings stated that both cards in your Pendulum Zones ''must'' be destroyed to use the searching effect, blocking off the combo.

* ThanatosGambit: Igknights Lancer and Champion can be summoned by destroying "Igknight" cards you control and the Igknights have self-destructive Pendulum effects to search out other Igknights. This is hardly a detriment, since Pendulum Monsters go to the Extra Deck instead of the Graveyard when destroyed, and can then be Pendulum Summoned from there. Their self-destruct effects not only accumulate advantage but also set you up for later plays.

* ZergRush: The Pendulum Igknights aren't too strong for their Levels and they can be Pendulum Summoned to make up for their destruction. They can be easily used for Xyz Summons.

* NoSell: The Majespecters cannot be targeted or destroyed by the opponent's card effects.

** Dreiath III's effect protects other True Draco and True King monsters from being targeted or destroyed by card effects while he's on the field.
