Yuto and Kurosaki get ticked whenever they are referred to this, as they believe that eventually, they will take back their homes and friends. The Xyz arc reveals the Academia is mostly correct with the Resistance barely holding on.

However, Yuto, Shark, and O'Brien has to keep Kurosaki in check, as he lets his personal feelings take their actions too far at times, especially in the Standard Dimension that doesn't know of the war.

%%* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Episode 80 shows more of Sora's mindset: during his time in Standard, he came to regard Yuya and Yuzu as his ''first'' friends. This is due to the harsh training regime Academia put the kid through, which really left no time for relaxation and bonding between his fellow students.
