* BadassDecay: Is hit with this ''hard'' in the later seasons. While he was always LaughablyEvil and a DirtyCoward, in the first season he was still a fearsome adversary whom Raimundo was scared to discover during a surprise attack in episode 2 and who caused Kimiko to remark "Wow! Jack's on fire!" in the same episode. In ''The Sapphire Dragon'', when told to pursue Jack, Dojo says "Me? Go after ''[[TheDreaded him]]''?" He's a [[TheSnarkKnight snark knight]] and a brilliant tactician with advanced knowledge of metallurgy, cybernetics, mechanics and artificial intelligence, but in later seasons, he's reduced to a ButtMonkey and IneffectualSympatheticVillain whom even the heroes bully in a way that [[DesignatedHero sometimes makes them come across as jerks]].

* BigBadWannabe: Emphasis on "[[IJustWantToBeBadass wannabe]]". [[spoiler:He gets his wish in a BadFuture, and even manages to make a TheBadGuyWins example out of this by defeating all the other villains and heroes alike.]]
* BigOlEyebrows: He has rather thick eyebrows which oddly, are black instead of red.

* BigOlEyebrows: He has rather thick eyebrows which oddly, are black instead of red.red, suggesting his hair is dyed.

* ChildProdigy: He's about the same age as the monks. He may be immature but is also a brilliant inventor and engineer. He is never seen going to school but given his IQ, it is very likely he skipped a couple of grades.

to:

* {{Goth}}: Stated to be a wannabe goth.goth and has a gothic style of dress, wearing a black leather trench coat along with eyeliner and apparently dyed red hair.

* {{Narcissist}}: In earlier seasons, in which he names his robots Jack-Bots, thinks himself intellectually superior to everyone else, constantly fusses over his hair and brags constantly that he's the greatest villain and genius in the world. Downplayed in later seasons given the way he allows everyone good and evil to walk all over him, although he still feebly insists that he's a [[InsistentTerminology super evil boy genius]].

* SquishTheCheeks: On the receiving end of this from Wuya when she breaks into his lair in an episode of the final season.

* MagicalBarefooter: Almost always goes barefoot in her human form. The only time she wears shoes are when she's in the Wild West with Jack and she dons cowboy boots.

* VillainDecay: She was depicted as the ultimate evil of the world in the first two seasons but although she's still the most powerful villain around when at her full strength, in later seasons she's reduced to a hapless pawn of Chase Young.

* ArrogantKungFuGuy: The world's greatest martial artist and ''extremely'' arrogant.

* CatchphraseInsult: He's got two for Jack. Chase always calls him a worm and an insect.

* TakeOverTheWorld: They all want to conquer the world.

* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: As revealed in "The Demon Seed", Jack is seen as a laughingstock by the villain and evildoer community, especially on Internet chatrooms. It rises to the point he's made a pop culture icon of ridicule in the villain community as a StrawLoser figure much to his intense chagrin.

* {{Determinator}}: Although he has many flaws, his determination is one of his few admirable qualities. Although he constantly fails (and suffers pain and humiliation), he never gives up trying to take over the world.

* TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior: As a kid, he wanted Knife throwing lessons, but his mother took him for figure skating lessons, he invented a robot out of her juicer as a result. As a teen, he aims for world domination with his army of Jack Bots at his command...and yet he also uses winter sports as a Surprise Skill.

* UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist: Mostly averted. He actually is an antagonist for most of the series and is the Monk's main rival. However, he delivers alot of the shows funniest lines and is actually rather a sympathetic villain because he constantly fails and yet keeps going.

* HatedByAll: Nearly nobody in the show likes him or treats him with respect. The other villains consider him to be a pathetic joke and while he does have the chance to make several alliances throughout the show (his two alliances with Wuya when she was a ghost being the ones that lasted the longest), almost all the alliances end with him [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder being betrayed]]. The heroes don't like him any better, being on opposite sides and all, but while Omi is eager to give him a chance at redemption, even he engages in bullying Jack when the other monks do the same. And then there's Good Jack, who they consider even more annoying than the regular one
