* LetsFightLikeGentlemen: When he captures the party, Elma appeals to his honourable side, so he challenges the players to combat, and lets them go if they win. When battle enters the second phase and he gets in his Skell, he breaks combat and lets you get in your own Skell before continuing.

* HeelFaceTurn: One unit of the Cavern Clan turn to the side of humanity if Rook saves them and their Captain. The Tree Clan don't really make a Face Turn, since they were anti-Ganglion the whole time.

A mysterious race of aliens whom have advanced technology.

* SufficientlyAdvancedAliens: Humanity used some of their technology to survive.

* SmallRoleBigImpact: They are only involved with two key events that ''Xenoblade Chronicles X'' showed: partly causing the destruction of Earth and shooting down the White Whale causing it to crash on Mira which kickstarts the events of ''Xenoblade Chronicles X''; but they didn't follow the White Whale down on Mira for unknown reasons. If it wasn't for them the plot of ''Xenoblade Chronicles X'' would be very different.

* LikeBrotherAndSister: She views [[DoggedNiceGuy Gwin]] as a younger brother... [[{{Understatement}} Poor guy]].
