The Slotty Project was an experiment made by The Order of the Ender Dragon that was used in an attempt to convert a person's soul into an obedient servant who would carry out orders for one of the leaders of The Order, referred to as Master Hennessy. The poor soul who was the subject of this experiment was none other than Master Hennessy's own nephew and protagonist of the story, Seto. Seto was kidnapped by the Order as a child, no older than 7 at the time, and was forced to go through an extremely painful operation. The experiment has caused Seto years of seemingly endless trauma and left a somewhat noticeable scar on the back of his head (the reason he always keeps his hood up). The operation didn't fully work however, only leaving half of Seto's soul changed. This half is Slotty. Although having the mindset of a young child, (his mental age being equal to the time he has existed, essentially) Slotty willingly and happily carried out orders from Master Hennessy, torturing and murdering dozens of people. Although none of the events were at all Seto's fault, he still feels responsible for everything that happened, all because of Slotty sharing his body and Master Hennessy's hatred of him.

Mitch's best friend prior to the events of the story, and possibly the nicest person of the main cast. Known for being a bacca, which is closely related if not exactly like a Wookie from Franchise/StarWars, Jerome was always willing to bring up morale during their time in the warehouse, and often tried to avoid drama. He is the victim of Chapter 2, being stabbed in the side by Mitch after an emotional outburst, soon dying in his friend's arms as he bled out.

The one behind the cast's imprisonment inside the warehouse, and the main antagonist of the story. He's very eager to see society's biggest hopefuls start killing each other, so he heaps psychological torture on the students at every turn. He constantly engages in forced black comedy during the situation, and gives a disturbing amount of attention to Seto, who he almost acts as if he's in love with at times. There's actually more than one Monowither: he's a series of highly-advanced robots, and can be instantly replaced if destroyed. He states that he's actually bound by the rules like everyone else, but he's willing to bend them for his own benefit to try to get rid of Steven, who was his biggest adversary due to being a spy for hope.

Jerome's best friend prior to the events of the story, Mitch is known for being the greatest Hunger Games tribute to ever live, almost always winning every match he participated in. However, it is later revealed that he had been taking performance enhancing drugs in order to win, which is a secret that if it ever got out, would not only ruin his career, but would put all of his family in danger, and cause his friends to abandon him.
