* DarkAndTroubledPast: Downplayed on the "Dark" part, but played straight in regards to the "Troubled" part. Prior to being caught by Owen, when Stipax was around 5 years old, his grandfather passed away at the age of 95 years old. Stipax's grandfather, upon being asked what the meaning of life is by Stipax, gives him the lyrics to Five for Fighting's "The Riddle" before dying. Stipax tries for years to solve this riddle, and misinterprets it as meaning that both he and his grandpa have to remain on Earth in order for everything to be alright with the world.
