* BrutallyHonest: Whenever it comes to Hana or her family situation, the guy has no filter. And since Hana has caused him to have a NearDeathExperience on more than one occasion because of her cooking, she usually lets him get away with it.

* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: Unlike Souta, he doesn't have any strange, outstanding quirk other than being incredibly smart and is less likely to get involved with the staff's zany antics.
* DeadpanSnarker: He isn't afraid to point out when Hana is being stupid.
* FirstNameBasis: It's never explained why, but when Hana met Rui for the first time, she addressed Daisuke by his given name.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While he can be quite cold, he's a good guy underneath it all.

Another high schooler and the floor manager at Wagnaria, Hana is Daisuke's senior at the restaurant. While a little dim academically, she's very enthusiastic about her work. Unlike Daisuke, she doesn't seem to be bothered that much by the assorted quirks of her co-workers.

* AllTakeAndNoGive: She is the taker in her relation with Daisuke,but unlike other examples, Hana isn't selfish or manipulative, she just doesn't know how relationships actually work.
* BelligerentSexualTension: Between her and Daisuke.
* BerserkButton: Insulting her cooking.

* BrutallyHonest: Though unlike Daisuke, she leans more into the InnocentlyInsensitive side whenever she makes a remark that angers him.
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: She's apparently very strong. Strong enough that both Kisaki and Sayuri are confident that she can beat a bear. And unlike in the case of Mahiru, there's no real explanation as to why she's this way.
* DoubleStandardAbuseFemaleOnMale: Downplayed. She does hit Daisuke and Sakaki, but its not too common and because both of them did something to threaten Wagnaria's business.
* DumbMuscle: She's as stong as she is dumb.
* FearlessFool: Probably because she doesn't know any better, Hana has no sense of danger. She doesn't freak out at seeing a message written in blood and she's the ''only one'' to react with enthusiasm at the implication that there might be a ''bear'' lurking around the area where everyone is having a Test of Courage in during episode 3.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Miyakoshi seems completely unable to process the fact that her various actions might be having an increasingly negative effect on Daisuke.
* ItsAllMyFault: She sees Daisuke's rougher personality as her fault. So she plans on making him eat all her chocolates till she gets better. Everyone was horrified.
* LackOfEmpathy: She seems completely unable to process the thought that other people, specifically Daisuke, are still living humans with thoughts and emotions. She even has to be told by Muranushi to actually think about his feelings when interacting with him.
* LethalChef: Her chocolates cause near death experiences.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: Gender inverted, Hana's mother is shown to be pretty similar to her.

* ChildhoodFriends: Episode 7 reveals that she and Sayuri went to elementary school together as such she knows Saitou.

Another of the waitresses at Wagnaria, Sayuri is quiet and a bit... odd. Despite claiming not to be able to see, or indeed ''believe'', in ghosts, she insists in serving customers none of the other staff can see. And not only that, the restaurant literally becomes a whole lot colder, darker, and ''eerier'' whenever she's not on duty.

* ArbitrarySkepticism: Sayuri doesn't seem to believe in any form of supernatural including religion, even though she can see ghosts.

* ISeeDeadPeople: Shiho sees ghosts clearly enough that she treats these ghostly visitors to the restaurant as regular customers. This naturally bothers Daisuke a lot, but when confronted about this not only does she counter that she ''doesn't'' believe in ghosts, she says she's never ever seen any yet in her life.

* ObliviousToLove: Both Daisuke and her fail to notice Saitou's obvious crush on the latter. Shiho voices her concern on having to act as the StraightMan for once.

* PassiveAggressiveKombat: Sayuri prefers to indirectly tell off anyone who annoys her.

It's actually the exact opposite; Sayuri's smile is so dazzling that whenever it happens it's usually accompanied by the usual romantic visual effects, namely BishieSparkle, GaussianGirl, and LoveBubbles.

One of the two regular chefs of Wagnaria, Masahiro is much more down to earth and less prone to theatrics as his kitchen co-worker is. Though generally used to the quirks of the other restaurant staff, Sayuri often throws him off balance, especially doing those rare times where she tries to emote.

* BlueWithShock: A common reaction of his to whenever Sayuri tries to smile.
* CowardlyLion: In episode 3 when he hears that a bear is nearby he runs to save Sayuri because he's scared she'll haunt him if she dies.
* HeelRealization: Downplayed in episode 6, he wasn't really being a jerk but he does realize that his recent actions to Sayuri were pretty rude and is attempting to fix it.

!!Yuta Shindo

A waiter at Wagnaria, Yuta comes from a family that's buried in debt, so much so that most of his salary from his many ''many'' jobs go into paying for it. As such he often has little to spend for himself, and has to rely on the restaurant leftovers to sometimes get through the day.

* {{Bishonen}}: Yuta is noted to be pleasant on the eyes, which helps immensely in his other job as a Host.

* InnocentlyInsensitive: Try as he might, Yuta will inevitably casually say something that would tick Shiho off.

One of the other waitresses at Wagnaria, Shiho is the only daughter of one of the richest families in the city. Technically she doesn't even ''need'' to work, but seems to enjoy working at the restaurant anyway. Her mere presence at the restaurant serves as a constant reminder to Yuta that he really ''really'' had a good thing going, but had casually thrown it away because he didn't know better as a kid.

* AllLoveIsUnrequited: Shiho's obviously still holding a torch for Yuta. Unfortunately Yuta's too hung up about the debt his family owes to hers to notice, which just infuriates her even more.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: The reason why she ends up falling for Yuta when they were kids.
* BodyguardingABadAss: PlayedForLaughs. As one of her bodyguards trains a new guy, the newbie notices that Shiho, wielding a katana, and mentions that she doesn't seem to need protection. The other guard then tells him that their job is actually to protect Yuta, who was kneeling before her as she brandished her katana around.
* TheBully: She spends most her time bullying Yuta than actually working.
* ChildhoodFriends: She's known Yuta since they were kids.
* ChildhoodMarriagePromise: Tried making one with Yuta. Unfortunately, it doesn't go as planned.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Always gets upset whenever she hears that Yuta was around women. In one instance, he's happily eating chocolates presumably given to him by girls during Valentine's Day. She immediately slaps him with some lottery tickets to interrupt his eating and further torture him with it.
* TheDreaded: To Yuta.
* DissonantSerenity: Despite Yuta's obliviousness and tactlessness (notice a pattern here?) frustrating her to no end, Shiho will always react to situations with a small smile on her face... Probably because she has ''other'' ways of making her displeasure known to Yuta.
* DullEyesOfUnhappiness: In episode 7 when it looks like Yuta can finally pay his debt.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: She may be a selfish SpoiledBrat, but at the very least, she respects her co workers (barring [[ButtMonkey Yuta]]) and treats sees them as equals. Of note, in her hierarchy chart, [[TheSmartGuy Daisuke]], [[TheStoic Sayuri]], and [[BrilliantButLazy Kisaki]] seem to rank the highest.

* {{Hypocrite}}: Lays into Saitou for being mean to Muranushi despite liking her in order to get her attention. Shiho herself is probably the ''worst'' offender in this kind of behavior, with the way she treats Yuta.
* ItAmusedMe: Everything she does towards Yuta could be considered this. And in the rare instances she's actually just trying to be nice, he completely misinterprets it as this trope, which then causes more anger from her.

Though she did eventually get a friend in Yuta, it's easy to assume that she continued to have no luck making friends at school, as her father's response to the bullying was ''to assign her two bodyguards at all times.''

* TranquilFury: Make no mistake, Yuta's gaffes often drive Shiho up the wall, but she's never shown to raise her voice, nor does she make her displeasure obvious on her face.

OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent, Daisuke is the primary viewpoint character of ''WWW.Working!!'' He was forced to find part-time work at the local branch of Wagnaria after his father lost his job recently. He's a little annoyed at how the rest of his family seems to be taking their current financial situation so lightly, but realizes that he now needs to get used to his situation, both at home at and work.

While initially mistaken for a ghost, Daisuke soon finds out that she's a classmate of his, but has never been able to go to school because of her weak constitution. Of course, since she seems perfectly fine hanging around Wagnaria every day, he thinks that she's just using her physical problems as an excuse to ''never'' come to school.
